2. 然后从自然层面，保护濒临灭绝的动物，为他们提供生存的空间，保护生态平衡，从而拯救我们人类自己。
3. 从政治层面，国家要搞实验，有军事的，有科技的，比如核试验，军事演习，卫星发射，太空梭发射的地方应该预留，人迹罕至才对。
4. 然而，有一些地方，比如由于人类破坏环境导致的沙漠什么的，就要尽快的开发和转化，而不是保留，这样才有利于人类的发展。

Should governments preserve the publicly owned wilderness areas which are extremely remote and few people access them? The author claims so, while in my opinion, a balance view should be taken out, some wilderness areas should be protected for civilization, nature and politics aim, however, others should be developed after overall evaluation.

To begin with, for civilization purpose, the wilderness areas with ancient building and ancestor trails should be preserved. The ancient building is the sign of ancient civilization, although there are books and historic materials which could also reflect history, it is another different way to explain the ancient life in another angle. Like Qin Palace which located in far west in China , since time flows, the buildings are already empty and few people access them. But it stands for the civilization of Qin dynasty, describe the scene that what the life in Qin dynasty is like.

Secondly, from natural aspect, some wilderness areas are preserved for saving the wild animals and natural balance. Since the industrial revolution, many factories are built here and there without planning for the nature. The serious problems--Pollution--more and more regularly need individuals face them, as a mater of fact, more and more species extinct in the world. Thus, the situation needs change to protect the wild animals which are merely extinct, the wildness areas which contain wild natural system could well solve the problems and apply a home to the wild animals and our human being to some extent. There are already many wild animal protection areas in many nations all around the world, even so, more this kind of areas are needed as well.

Thirdly, a kind of wilderness areas are used for political aims. Nations always preserve some areas that nobody live there to do some military affairs experiments such as nuclear experiments, also some technological experiments, like satellite sending and space-transfer sending. Such as the Kennedy Space Center in USA and Xichang Satellite Sending Center in China.

On the other hand, there are also some wilderness places need development rather than preservation. Human did not protect the world well since the environment is so bad for us living, many enrichment fields are turned into desert because the soil will sand if the trees grow there are cut down and thus can not be held. The fields like that need not be preserved but developed immediately.

To sum up, the conclusion need to be well evaluated from two big aspects: preservation needed and preservation not needed, and many aspects in details of the two big parts. Simply put, government should preserve the wildness areas which are useful and develop the others immediately for better usage.
