In the age of television, reading books is not as important as it once was. People can learn as much by watching television as they can by reading books.

There is a hot discussion that whether reading books is a way of study as important as it once was, since the invention of television. The author asserts that in the age of television, people can learn what they want to know by watching TV, reading books is no longer plays a crucial role. It seems to be reasonable at first glance, after thorough analyze, I strongly disagree the author's opinion. In my point of view, both ways have their own advantages superior to the other one, both of them are indispensable.

In the first place, watching television is one of the most important ways for people to study. There are many advantages that watching television is superior to reading books. For example, people can learn from television more vividly.  A dancer can imitate the acts directly from the teacher in television, while any detailed description can not achieve the same effects. Since different people may have various understanding of the same paragraph words, sometimes they will misunderstand the author’s opinion. There are many other advantages; like that watching television can give people a more objective and impressive conception, which people can understand more easily.

In the second place, reading books also plays a considerable part in study. Watching television should have many premises. First, you should have the television; second, you also should have the electricity; last, you should have the aerial to receive the signals. Moreover, you can decide the television program, you only can accept passively. When it comes to books, the condition is totally different. You can choose the book you want to read. And the book is convenient to carry. It needn't to use electricity, when you have the lights, you can read it. Reading books is the most important ways of studying. People began to read books long long ago, so that they are more accustomed to reading books and watching television. Watching television is lack of the feeling when people change the pages of the books.

Last but not least, reading books provides a more effective way for people to study. It can hold much more information. For example, a history book with 300 pages can cover the whole process of the World War II, a 500 pages physics book may include all of the knowledge about classic mechanics. An individual can take 3 days to read thorough the book and gain a general conception. Yet, it is impossible for the television to reflect such long period’s events or such kind of abstract knowledge. Even television can reflect, it also takes much more time. And the cost of making such kinds of documentary in television is much higher than the cost of book.

To sum up, due to the above mentioned reasons, which correlated with each other to generate an integrate whole and become more convincing one, we may be comfortable to say that both reading books and watching television play a vital role for people's study.  They all have their own advantages which can not be replaced by the other one. It is possible that in some special aspects, one way is truly superior to the other one. However, it is too broad to say that one way is more important than the other one in all aspects as the author asserts. The best way for us is to combine the advantages of these two ways according to our requires.

正文的三段路标词好像在写Argument的感觉，TV&book是两个不同方面，用"on the one hand & on the other hand" 比较好，正文三段就不用改了，是二段的延伸。
另外，正文三段说服力好像不强。

In my point of view, both ways have their own advantages superior to the other one, both of them are indispensable.

To sum up, due to the above mentioned reasons, which correlated with each other to generate an integrate whole and become more convincing one, we may be comfortable to say that both reading books and watching television play a vital role for people's study.  They all have their own advantages which can not be replaced by the other one.
