Refer to Line 15~17 : But the length of the journey between Europe and North America created many difficulties. Thomas……that they were all dead. 一句概括和一个例子足以说明 failed to survive the journey. 这应该是一道调顺序题。

Line9~11:  The most graphic proof that …… the nucleus of Halley's Comet. 抓住几个重点词：proof, developes from, ice and dust, obtained, nucleus of Halley's Comet. 因为是推断题，所以不太好找答案，要转换一下原文内容。

答案选择B，原因有2：
1.请看Line4: ……a comer's coma lies a necleus of solid material……  既然是固体物质，就不可能是gas，A被否定。
2.Line5: The visible coma is a huge cloud of gas and dust that has escaped from the nucleus… 那些gas and dust是从nucleus中被释放出来的，并不是nucleus的组成成分。

如果有一些天文学的背景就可以知道：彗核本身只是个源头,提供能形成气体的固体分子(外太阳系温度低于44K,那些东西都固态了),还有未破损的硅酸盐(以后碎成尘埃) 。水,一氧化碳,二氧化碳,甲烷,氨气都是以固态方式存在的.一旦升华以后就立刻脱离彗核,形成彗发了.其中有些在彗核深部的易升华分子需要靠压力顶碎表面的硅酸盐才能出来,所以喷发气体时往往带出一些尘埃碎块.这些碎块在未来还没有在空间弥散彻底的时候如果遭遇地球,就会形成流星雨了.

呵呵，这些背景在做类似的题目的时候也许可以用得上。

看了所有的楼上，现在还有几个问题。
听力23，大家谁听明白了男的 什么意思啊？
听力44。我选的B。原文中主要讲了引力对行星的影响的两个理论，有新有旧。不能选D。
阅读5。为何不选D,  lacal parks and squares不是计划之前的状况么？
40，选A较好。
45。我是学化学的，浓度改变和化学结构改变两码事吧。原文说的是浓度变化。我决定应该选B。

我也支持B！

虽然通过调整化学信号来进行的交流有一定的限制，但信息素（仍可提供丰富的交流）依据浓度和聚合度的不同仍能传递很多不同的信息。
