Just as a sword has two blade, technology brings us both good and evil things. People have disputed whether technology is good or not for a long time. Of course   it creates many problems, for justise, it’s a part of technology. That is to say, in my opinion, we should not curse or abandon the use of technology, though sometimes it does threaten or damage the quality of life. A objective and general evaluation is needed.
     Technology has developed rapidly in hundreds of years, especially after the Industrial Revolution. It changes our lives a lot. At the same time, technology causes a  great deal of troubles. It’s common sense that our environment today is much worse than before. Because of the heavy industrial, pollution is more serious. Although it makes our production more effective, however, it's also harmful for human beings if a proper step of decreasing the pollution is practised. We need new machines, but we also need a blue sky; we need new equipments, but we also need a lucid river. Improvement of the technology cannot base on the damage of our lives.
     However, admitted or not, we rely on the techonology so much. Take myself  as an example, when I get up, I turn on the radio to listen to the news and use microwave oven to heat my milk. Then I drive to my office, operate the computer to tackle the matter. At lunch time, I ask for a meal by my cell phone. I watch television at night. Imaging that we are away from techonolgy, I affirm that our life will be chaos. People are sruly benefit from techonology, it makes our daily life convenient.
     Indeed, the negative effect of technology should not be neglected. But individuals should think over a question, who really creates the damage, techonology itself or our human beings. Atom research was originally organised by some scientists who wanted to find a new energy. Even when American government decided to develop the A-bomb, the purpose of this great plan was to end the World War II. But out of everyone’s imagine the nuke, which was like a nightmare for many people, destroyed a city and deprived many people's lives. Some people thought we should cease to study  this resource anymore. However, the history proved the view was wrong. As the nuclear energy appears to be effective and abundance, it become a solution of energy crisis. Technology itself is not a demon, whether is good or not depends on the people who manipulate it. It’s not wise to give up technology only because it creates some problems, futhermore under the circumstances we may solve it or make it better.
     The conclusion of a object always affects by the attitude of people. It’s obviously wrong to value technology just by its demage but its benefaction. We all must believe we have ability to use the technology well. We are the master of it, not the slave at all. Thanks to technology, Human beings have a good present. Only by the advancement of technology, people will have a better future.
