The speaker asserts that the college and university should require all faculties to work outside the academic field. It seems that this policy could improve the competency of the faculty in practical skills; however, as far as I am concerned, this is not a must, and it has flexibility when put into use.
To begin with, some of the faculty in the college and university are professor or associated professor, whose job is to teach and do researches in his field, so working in profession may probably delay their research and teaching. It is known that everyone has limited energy, and faculties are without exception. Some people may argue that they could use the holiday to do these jobs in profession; however, these people do not familiar with the operation in the university at all, not to mention the arrangement of the professors. On summer holiday or winter holiday, the professors have many lessons to prepare, for they will impart the knowledge to the students next term. On the other hand, professors are busy with so much meeting or seminar and their researches in their field, through which the reputation of college and university could be largely improved. As to work in profession, it is certain that the work will share time and energy which the professor used to prepare for teaching and research, and this will result in the bad teaching quality and less research fruit, which at last impacts the reputation of the university and college.

Besides, the faculty in some field could hardly find any appropriate job for them, and these jobs may have little to do with their teaching or research. I have to admit that it provides faculties some experience of working outside, which may benefit in their teaching process. However, there are lots of subjects in the college or university are not suitable for the faculty to find any job, especially for some closely related to theory. For example, the mathematics, a subject which mainly substantiates theorems. If they work outside, not company would require them to prove something, but to use it in the computer science and so on. It is useless for the faculty to do so, for their study purpose is not to application. Other subject, like the humanities and some social science, as well as geography, archeology and so on, are hard to find appropriate job, but only cost a lot time that should be used to sublime themselves. In a word, faculty in some fields has difficulty in finding a job, which also makes little sense.

Admittedly, I have to concede that other faculty related to technology could work outside their academic field if they have enough energy and time, since it is a window to provide the faculty with much more sense of practical use of knowledge, which should be emphasized in their teaching. Technology is a subject that put the theory in to practical use in contrast with science, which limited with the theory research. The faculty should teach the students about the practical use of their theory, such as to design a instillation tower for a chemical factory, design a program for the software and so on. The application of these subjects helps the faculty to understand more about the cost and profit, how to save energy, how does the factory realize it currently, and so forth, then in their teaching process, they tend to emphasize these to the students. Moreover, it will make them to confirm their goal of research--the application of industry manufacture, which require lowest cost of raw materials and energy with largest amount of production. In this case, the faculty concerned to the technology may work outside in their field, which helps them to gain deep insight of the practical application of the theory and facilitate their teaching, but it is not a must.

To sum up, it is not necessary for the faculty in the university and college to work outside in professions, since they have to teach and research, which take up most of their time and energy, and moreover some of their subjects are hard to find any suitable jobs, although I have to admit that in the field of technology, faculty will benefit in the work, but it is not must.

整个观点是大正小负，所以我觉得应该把B3放到前边，来个强转折，B1，B2紧随其后，这样比较好！不然这样逻辑上不通。B3的TS再明确一些。B1论述的不是很严密，跳跃太大，不过感觉越往后写越好。
