关于第二题我想问的是D为什么不对
因为在line 4出现了这个短语 cheerful, commercial-minded Newhery
除非D选项和这个短语的表达意思有不同,否则我不认为它有什么错

关于C, 从逻辑上来说没错
但是文章在那个地方还没有提到instructing
使用rather than 我不知道是不是可以
因为TOFEL不同于GRE,它更侧重于就事论事,找现成的答案

所以我觉得D更好

题目问的是他principally known for 什么，主要因为什么出名。the first就是引人注意的原因啊。所以，答案就在the first那句里面。

6-0-3 听力太不稳定了 少的时候错2个多的时候达到8个....阅读也变差了 本来想着阅读0错误
看来太低估了ETS 题目似乎从03年起变难了?

17 4 11 听力我听的是相当完整的版本 居然好多都是压根没听懂 而不是听懂了选不出 段子题也错了5道 呀呀呀呀呀~~~~~~~~~

第七题，文章只是这些书是说给儿童看，没有说过给大人看。我觉得可能是对于这句话的理解的问题instructive enough to allay adult distrust of fiction。应该是在说，ME的作品，不只有趣，而且达到了教育目的，而，可能之前的fiction都没有教育意义，所以家长对fiction是怀疑的态度，ME的寓教于乐的作品allay了他们的怀疑，不信任。信任不信任的态度是指家长为了孩子选择书籍时候的态度，而不是说，这些书是给大人看的。

我觉得第二题应该选d 7题应该是b
因为
第二题：line 4有句话是“it was not the cheerful, commercial-minded Newhery“ 说明cheerful, commercial-minded就是来修饰 John Newhery的
第七题：可以看lines11-13说的就是同时满足children and adults。
