在美国。。餐厅和taxi的消费给tips有参考。。15-10%可以把

但是如果是单纯的service..如在hotel帮我抬箱子。。打扫房间。或别的什么事情怎么给才合适？？？不会给个小费就把我给成穷光蛋了吧

那比如像吃饭的时候，小费是直接计算在帐单中，有明确的数额的那种，还是我们自己随便给的呢？

有时候餐馆会把小费算到账单里面，有的时候则不会。你看清楚账单再做决定。
如果付现金，就直接给。
出去吃饭前最好就这个问题问问当地的美国同学，他们会告诉你怎么办比较合适的。

no need to pay tips for *house keeping*. At least when I was with american in hotels, they didn't pay anything for that.

If you go to restaurant and use credit card to pay, then the tips should be included in the bill. If you pay cash, better put the tips under your dish or plate after you finish your meal.
