Should all nations help support the development of a global university as the author proposed? While the establishment of a global university indeed could bring certain benefits, the author ignores many other factors that may make the plan impractical.

Admittedly, since all the faculties and students come from different countries, they have different cultural backgrounds and perspectives toward the same problems. Through the discussion, the best methods could be made out more effectively. Besides, this plan would be comprehensive with integrated ideas but unlikely to be prejudiced. Some many argue that the diverse backgrounds may impede their necessary communication, resulting in this university’s ineffectiveness. However, such worrisome are unwarranted. With today's easily available information around the world through internet, people from different countries are becoming more and more familiar with each other’s cultures. From this point of view, the global university is a good idea.

The establishment of such a global university could shed light on many difficult problems which greatly needs the collective efforts of diverse experts' cooperation concerning the knowledge and also accumulative supports from diverse countries concerning the funds. For example, the more and more serious global warming trend has imposed negative influence on most countries in the world. On the one hand, to solve this problem, knowledge from different fields is needed such as chemistry, geography, and physics and so on. On the other hand, this problem involves pollution prevention in many countries in the world and also such project needs a lot of money that is unaffordable to only one nation. All these elements require the efforts of different nations' participation and the global university is the one in point.

However, many other problems may be counterproductive to this plan. The first problem is the fact that in today's world, many countries have totally different economical and political situations. Some countries could afford the required money to establish a global university; the same amount of money may seem to be a sky number to other countries. Besides, the criteria on judging what are the most persistent social problems maybe totally different in various nations. For instance, the United States may be more concerned about how to expand the economy and keep a balance between economical development and environment protection, some other countries in Africa, where regional conflicts are continuous, are more cared about how to end the war and create a peaceful circumstance for further development. Such problems are inevitable in reality and must be dealt with well before the foundation of the global university.

Another problem involves the political aspect. While the establishment of such a global university needs all nations' supports, it is inevitable that every nation wants the university to develop as much close as possible to the direction that is advantageous to the agenda o f oneself. The results may lead to the disagreement on the arrangement of distribution on what should be at the top of the list of most persistent social problems. The political factor makes the establishment much more complex than what we have thought of.

In conclusion, although the plan to establishment of a global university is the ideal, it is impractical in real world because of a large pool of problems begging the realization of such goal.

第四段开头意思错了，应该是problems xome up 而不是counterproductive， 笔误，呵呵 天文数字是sky number 吗，不懂，如果是告诉我啊 ，还有就是TS虽然有是第二句，但是没说清，应该说明各国情况不同会有什么不好，这才是problem，你只说情况不同等于只说了problem的原因。

但是这段的意思还是差不多的。

总体语言很不错的，表达的挺容易懂而且挺切题，虽然我还是找到了一些错误，但是即使不改感觉还是被你说的挺赞同你的观点的。

我觉得可以有两方面展开吧，1 各国有各自的利益，他们处理问题往往是从自己的角度去考虑，比如各国就不可能在一起研究核能的利用。 2 各国有自己优先要解决的问题，而这些问题不一定和别的国家相同，这一点你的第三段说得很好
