this is my second composition experience .can you help me to edit?

As a company announced to build a large factory near our communty, a heat controversy bursted among our habitants.Some people believed the merits will more than demeits, and other bet it is on the contrary.After listening to their opinions,I argue that it will benefit us if the factory sets up nearby, although there is some disavantages.
The major point for my penchant is that it will increase the job opportunities for the lay-off persons.We can make an assumption that if the firm has one thonsand employees,and one thirds of them need to consume various fruit sand many kinds of everyday merchandise we supply, it will give us how many job opportunities. And with the prosperity of business,our lives in the cummunity will become more and more convenient.
Another reason can be seen is that the infrastructure around our community will be better. In order to meet the need of transportation of the large mill,the government have to constuct the highroad and pavement.What’s more,there will be more policemen to minister transportation.I believe that will help the children and old people to pass the street and reduce the accident.
Certainly most things have two handles. The settle of a large factory will give us some disavantages.In some cases,at the high time,so many workers pass the highroad and trails that we will have the difficulty to come and go,especially for the older persons lived in our commumty.And with the business blossom,the rate of commiting crimes will rise, which is not a good news to us.
Despste these disavantages,I convince the settle of a large factory will benefit us of all after considering all aspects.we should do what we can do to welcome its settle.
