题目：A company has announced that it wishes to build a large factory near your community. Discuss the advantages and disadvantages of this new influence on your community. Do you support or oppose the factory? Explain your position.

Considering the news that a company wishes to build a large factory near my community, I conclude some possible influences it may have as followings.

At the first sight, I find that a new factory will certainly offer more job chances for local people. And undoubtedly a new factory will also contribute to the economic growth of my community. In China, there are many successful examples that small towns develop in a surprising speed mainly due to its introduction of new factories.

But then the question comes up. Will the new factory really be what my community need? For instance, my community has already enough clothes-making factories and this factory, which is also a normal clothes-making factory, can only add up to the competition among original factories. In my opinion, government should introduce more suitable factories into our community. Furthermore, the main part of our labor market is particularly of high knowledge. However, if the new factory only employ some basic workers, it won't be much helpful to the local labor market.

At last, I'm also concerned about the new factory's influence on environment. It's really doubtful whether the new factory can deal successfully with the waste it produces. We should not acquire economic development in the cost of environment. These years our community has already spent noticeable resource on mending our environment. Hence we cannot afford more pollution brought by the new factory.
