Topic: whether we should choose friends with who are similar to us or those who are different from us?
At first glance, it seems not easy for me to draw a quick conclusion over this topic, that we should choose friends who are similar to us or different from us, because both of the choices have seemingly good qualities and intrinsic disadvantages. It is really something of a dilemma. Finally, after a deliberation I want give my vote to the latter one, that we should choose people different from us to be friends, for the reasons rendered blow:
First of all, we can learn more things from persons different from us. People, who live in different surroundings, have different life styles and do different job, usually have different experience. This diversity of experience will be an innate resource of communication between friends, and may greatly increase their knowledge about life and job. That is really attraction to each other.
Another reason for my propensity is that we can get more useful help if we make friends with people different from us. For instance, when a butcher makes friends with a smith, he can get help from his friend to repair knives and provides fresh meat as a payment. This relationship makes their life more comfortable. The third reason, however, goes this way: people in different kinds may be easy to go on with for less competition.
There are still some unpleasant aspects of this choice, but these three reasons will be enough for me to draw the conclusion: we should make friends with people different from us. Anyway, it is only defined to me, and different people may make different choices according to their own personality and fondness.
总算是练了一篇了
