这段最觉得没有说服力大家帮忙想想还有什么可说的。

The assertion stresses on the cooperation between diverse fields in order to make a great advancement. I fundamentally agree with the claim, since more and more interdisciplinary study appear which help people solve many pressing problems. Nevertheless, the assertion is too extreme to claim unless the knowledge or experience of outsiders can the study get achievement.

Admittedly, knowledge brought from other fields usually assist the researchers to develop new concepts, ideas, even disciplines. Take the example of the study of sociolinguistics, deriving from linguistics, which is a typical interdisciplinary branch influenced by many subjects. American linguist Labov who greatly advanced the study of socioliguistics learned research method from psychology, sociology phonology, statistic and so forth, then finished the survey about New York sales people's accent with the text The Social Stratification of English in New York City, which is regarded as the seminal work of sociolinguistics. If those knowledge and experience beyond linguistics had not been brought in to his research, he would not be able to finish the significant survey. Therefore, the nutrition from other fields does help scholars make further research his or her field.

Also, the interdisciplinary trend facilitate to settle many pressing social problems. Nowadays, in the age of technology, people are facing more complicated global problems, so it is impossible to rely on a certain limited knowledge to solve them. Under the cooperation in various fields, will we find out a better solution to those problems. For instance, the treatment of AIDS, it could no be completely solved depending on medical research solely, on the contrary, elite scientists from genetics, physiology, medicine, biochemistry and biology etc. are focusing on this problem, working together. Hence, these knowledge and experience brought form respective fields plays a vital rule in solving many complicated problems in any field of study.

Nevertheless, these knowledge and experience from outsiders is not the only way for making progress in study, to some fundamental scientific fields, making a thorough study in his or her own discipline is the better way for meaningful advancement. Look back into the history of mathematic study, from Eulcid to Archimedes, they devoted their whole life in formulas, proofs, axioms, without too many information from outriders. For theory studies, focusing on doing research independently is sometimes more efficient than learning from others. With their own ability to find problems and solve them is more important  to the development of a displine, while spending to much time in discussing with outsiders might be in vain.

To sum up, the assertion is correct especially in the modern world, more disciplines, more cooperation between many areas are working together to solve urgent problems. We have to appreciate this trend which will definitely benefit the study, nevertheless, other approaches can be taken to achieve the goal making advancement in the study as well.
