Dear:

The Graduate Program Committee has reviewed your application, and I am pleased to inform you that you have been accepted for admission to the graduate program in the Department of Chemistry at the University of Missouri-Columbia, beginning in August 2006.

Your record allows us to offer you a substantial financial support package. It includes a stipend of $13,500/year for duties as a Graduate Fellow in the Department Teaching Program. Stipends are for the calendar year (i.e. 12 months). Furthermore, we are prepared to increase your stipend to $14,500, if you pass at least two qualifying entrance exams on your first attempt, or to $15,500, if you initially pass three or more. These tests are given prior to the beginning of your first semester in our Program. Support is guaranteed at this level for your first year, provided you remain in good academic standing and meet all Program requirements. We anticipate a research or teaching assistantship will provide your support in subsequent years, if not sooner.
Details of research assistantships depend on the research group that you join. All graduate fellows and teaching and research assistants receive a full waiver of educational fees, which currently amounts to $12,973/year. Thus, your award for the first year is worth $26,373.  With the amounts offered for passing a specific number of the qualifying entrance exams on your first attempt, your award could be $27,373 or $28,373. Your first monthly payment will be on September 30.

本人背景是本科211全国排名80左右，gpa89/100,班级排名1/96,研究生天大化工，gpa83/100班级排名2/14，论文8篇全是中文，GT很烂:T600/4.5  G v 500 Q790 Aw4,
老实说这些offer中都在本人意料之外，我没有套过辞，我个人真正套过辞的是U Of virginia, TAMU和U of Florida 教授都给了回信，我正在等，本人总共申了19所美国和加拿大学校，个人感觉太多，主要是当初认为自己本科学校太烂，没有信心所致，真的非常感谢论坛大家给我的无私的帮助，再次感谢，现在我选校有些问题，不太清楚这些学校哪个排名靠前，希望给与帮助？在此我县谢谢大家了，有机会我会合大家共享我的申请全经历。先写在这吧。
