issue142 Through challenging authority, well-being of our society is enhanced.

Franklin Roosevelt ever said: eternal truth will be neither true nor eternal unless they have new meaning for every new social situation. So does authority. With our society marching on, authority may fall out of time and lose merit, people challenging it with different ideas may promote the progress of social well-being. In addition, to make the argument more precise, I would like to confine that the challenge should be based on rationality, not on insatiate selfish desires or incorrigible bigotry.

In our history, it is people’s challenge toward authority with courage and wisdom that actually pushes our society forward. Questioning authority frequent leads to reform and modification, which is indispensable in all fields in human society. In political realm, people have always been questioning the authorities, that is the law system and the political leaders and it is because of their effort that our political avoids the danger of being stale or out of date. One example may be that since 1887, there have been twenty-four amendments added to the constitutions of the United States, which greatly secured the healthy development of country under various kinds of situations.

Aside from politics, people effort to challenge authority may be more important in people's inquiry for knowledge. Many great discoveries in scientific history were built on their denial of existing authority. For example, Copernicus’s courage to question then prevailing geocentric theory actually brought birth to modern astronomy. Since scientific progress is usually a continual

However, as we encourage the questioning of authority, we should confine it within the range of rationality. If people's activities exceed this range, their activities may actually fail to promote the well-being of the society, but to harm it. Though activities based on rationality against authority may also lead to temporary suffering of its people, like the Independence War of the United States against British army, they do promote the society's well-being in the long run. However, if the reason that people question authority is based on insatiate selfish desires or incorrigible bigotry, their activities may cause nothing but confuse and fallback of the society. People whose do not get what they deserve can complain to authorities and promote the maturity of equality. However, if people demand more than that and if they turn to their bigotry, their activities more often evolve into antisocial behaviors such as harmful commotion, crime and sometimes terror. Such kind of questioning should be limited in order to secure the well-being of our society.

From what is discussed above, we may come to the conclusion that questioning of authorities is inevitable in the advancement of social well-beings as long as it is confined in a rational way.

Franklin Roosevelt ever said: eternal truth will be neither true nor eternal unless they have new meaning for every new social situation. So does authority. With our society marching on, authority may fall out of time and lose merit, people challenging it with different ideas may promote the progress of social well-being. In addition, to make the argument more precise现在不是在写arg啊, I would like to confine that the challenge should be based on rationality, not on insatiate selfish desires or incorrigible bigotry.

In our history, it is people’s challenge toward authority with courage and wisdom that actually pushes our society forward. Questioning authority frequent leads to reform and modification, which is indispensable in all fields in human society. In political realm, people have always been questioning the authorities, that is the law system and the political leaders该断句了 and it is because of their effort that our political avoids the danger of being stale or out of date. One example may be that since 1887, there have been twenty-four amendments added to the constitutions of the United States, which greatly secured the healthy development of country under various kinds of situations.

Aside from politics, people effort to challenge authority may be more important in people's inquiry for knowledge. However, if the reason that people question authority is based on insatiate selfish desires or incorrigible bigotry, their activities may cause nothing but confuse词性 and fallback of the society.下面一句也不和上面一句联系着啊 People whose 这种错误不要犯吧do not get what they deserve can complain to authorities and promote the maturity of equality.
