Issue10.”Government must ensure that their major cities receive the financial support they need in order to thrive because it is primarily in cities that a nation’s cultural traditions are preserved and generated.”
Nowadays, it is trendy that governments afford sufficient financial support to major cities, which redounds to prospering economic development but benefits a little to nation’s cultural tradition. What is more effective is that government should sponsor countryside or rural areas for the purpose of preserving and generating conventionally cultural trait.

It is a reasonable and effective way that government provides adequate economic support to major cities, especially in developing period when the nation has not enough power to cover everywhere. Common sense tells us that one or several metropolises always serve as the representation of its nation. When we mention New York, America will occur to most people; and when we refer to Beijing, it is natural that people associate it with China; and when we talk about Pairs, it will bring to remembrance of France. The investment in such cities would bring about more returns and benefits than other cities or countryside, since these cities have developed better than other areas comparatively, such as completed public facilities, convenient traffics and transportations, as well various topping professional people, while countryside has only a few. Based on their existing advantages, the economic support from government will accelerate the development of major cities quickly. What is more significant is that these cities could feed back more rapidly than other regions too. The metropolises are more attractive than rural areas to international and national companies, the multifold investors and the like, which conduce to promoting cities. It forms a good circle gradually. That is to say, the same investment to major cities could contribute more greatly and obviously than that to countryside when it comes to economic advancement.

Every coin has two coins. The merits of metropolises in economic development become demerits in persevering nation’s cultural tradition. In fact, it is the rural regions that maintain the original cultural traits; simultaneously the government funds are necessary in order to preserve traditions. Just because the major cities have attracted divers companies and people from different places, and in turn these cities transform convergences of various culture step by step, while the original cultural traditions of these cities changed or even disappeared under the exotic cultural influence and shock. On the contrary, the rural regions suffer little from the interaction or interplay and they could keep pristine and pure cultural traditions more easily than metropolises. Nevertheless, the underdeveloped economic conditions in countryside make most cultural heritages away from the wealth; and the worse situation is that some heritors have difficult in bearing livelihood merely via their traditional handcraft. For the sake of the bread-and-butter or living a better life, numerous young people are unwilling or reject to heritage cultural tradition and prefer to earn living in cities as common people. As a result, some cultural heritages which had handed down from one generation to another generation are lost for lack of heritors. Only when governments appropriate funds to solve such difficulties and provide sufficient support to heritors of cultural heritors, could the situation be turn-around. Generally speaking, the countryside and rural regions are the proper place where governments should afford financial support for persevering nation’s cultural traditions.

The metropolises and countryside have distinct characters; therefore government should make full use of both. It is vital for any nation to strike a balance between developing economy and persevering cultural traditions. So does the financial support.

Nowadays, it is trendy that governments afford sufficient financial support to major cities, which redounds to 不错,不错! prospering economic development but benefits a little to nation’s cultural tradition.

Based on their existing advantages, the economic support from government will accelerate the development of major cities quickly是否和前面的加速一次重复,请斟酌.

In fact, it is the rural regions that maintain the original cultural traits; simultaneously 连词是否应该用一个转折关系的呢the government funds are necessary in order to preserve traditions. For the sake of the bread-and-butter 这是一个形容词,如果意在修饰后面的life好像也不合适or living a better life, numerous young people are unwilling or reject to heritage cultural tradition and prefer to earn living in cities as common people?.

To sum up,The metropolises and countryside have distinct characters; therefore government should make full use of both. It is vital for any nation to strike a balance between developing economy and persevering cultural traditions. So does the financial support.

1. occur to 印象中可以这样用吧,通常是sth (idea, thought, method ) occur to sb, 表示某人想到了什么吧
2. 应该是every coin has two sides, 我写错了,呵呵
