In this sentence, the speaker asserts that students should own certain doubt to whatever they study and they are not accepting the knowledge passively. In my views, fundamentally I agree with the issue just because the proper questioning to knowledge helps students discover truth from wrong and active thinking about what they study other than accepting it passively will be no doubt to adopt their enterprise and creativity, which will be beneficial to their future life. Yet, unduly questioning what they are taught will also waste time and energy to identify the truth that has been justified by ancestors.

First and foremost, proper questioning what they are taught helps students discover truth from wrong, which can avoid the error idea input into the students' heart. Bringing with certain skepticism to listen teacher's lecture, students can not only learn what it is, more important to understand why it is and whether it is right or not. Take Galileo for example, through questioning Aristotle's theory can we learn that truth that the accelerate speed of all objects on earth is the same. Without this theory, it is hard for Newton to draw his great laws in physics. Another illustrating example involves that Copernicus' sun center theory that questioning the authority idea at that time. Consequently, it is skepticism spirit that makes us learn what is true and what is wrong in complex nature.

What's more, active skepticism that is kept plays an important role in culturing our enterprise and creativity, which is crucial in our way to success. Active skepticism keeps us clear idea from start to end and we will not become lazy since our head is keeping on thinking. Without the skepticism spirit, we are easy to accept what we are taught, which are very terrible to some extent. No matter whether what we study is right or wrong, we entirely accept it. If it is the case, our idea will become lazy even rigid, let alone creativity. In a word, active skepticism is so important that we should bring them to whatever we study.

Yet, unduly questioning what we are taught is not wise and necessary since much time and energy are wasted. For example, we can apply immediately the free fall law and need not to justify it because the theory has been justified by our physics. We need not suspect the weight law, use it freely. We need not doubt the sun centre theory, just use it to study the university. On the contrary, if we recalculate these theories, we will have little time and energy to accomplish our president research, which will influence our true work. Consequently, unduly questioning does harm to our study and we will avoid it.

All in all, questioning to whatever we study will not only helps us identify right from wrong but also shape us enterprise and creativity. Active skepticism is a wealth of our life, which plays a considerable part in our way to success. Yet we should avoid unduly questioning to the truth after all it is an insignificant work wasting time and energy.
