Task:describing or comparing figures from graphic input,making inferences form: short report(120-140 words)

    图表主要形式有：bar chart/pie chart/graphs

    描写图表一般有一定的用词，格式

    一般描述图表分三个步骤：

    1.总体趋势描述，可以进行两者总体的比较上　　　　　　　　　　　　　

    2.分别具体描述趋势，要找出图表上的关键意义的点，如A与B的共同有的点，和各自最高最低点等等。

    3.描述图表趋势及重要的转折点的主要用词（有的很常用的没写出来）：

    peak(顶峰)bottom(谷地/最低点)general upward trend(总体向上/增长趋势)fluctuate（波动)bottom out(最底点后平缓)level off/out(处相对于平缓期)shoot up(暴涨)collapse/crash/slump/plunge(暴跌)climb to ……(攀升)recove/pick up(从……恢复)  outstrip(超越)…………

    用于比较的词/短语：however,whereas,likewise,...as...,in contrast,on the other hand...一般用与分别论述的两个段落之间

    用于描述时间段的短语：during the period of ....,between...and...,from...to..

    比较好的几个词/短语：

    see
    e.g.Microsoft saw its share price change constantly,they reached a peak of $100 in July,fell to under $80 in mid-August......

    stand
    e.g.The figure stood at 7% at the begining of April and rose dramatically to peak at the level of 11.5%......

    with 结构
e.g.The upward trend continued,with the figure reaching a peak of 700 by the end of 1997.

    before结构
e.g.1998 saw the figure drop sharply to 600 before levelling out.
