Congratulations and welcome to the Department of Computer Science at the
University of British Columbia!  I am pleased to advise that subject to
the approval of the Faculty of Graduate Studies, you will be admitted to
the M.Sc. program beginning September 1, 2006.

The department provides financial support to incoming graduate students
without any scholarships or fellowships.  Our financial support for our
M.Sc. student without support is:

       Form of Support:        Teaching and/or Research Assistantships
       Amount of Support:      $17,300 per year
       Guaranteed Period:      first 2 years
       Duties: combination of teaching and/or research activities
       # of hours:     based on an average of 12 hours-per-week
       Conditions of Support:  To receive our financial support, you must be
a registered full-time UBC graduate student.  Our support is contingent
to satisfactory performance in the assigned teaching and research
assistantship duties.  You must also be in good standing and making
satisfactory progress in your academic performances. If  you receive
additional funding from fellowships or other sources, you are required
to inform the dept.  Your financial support will be modified accordingly.

You are eligible for an International Partial Tuition Scholarship of up
to 3,413.80 per year.  This scholarship is a merit-based award available
to international students holding a valid Student Authorization (i.e.,
Student Visa) who are charged the full International tuition fees.  You
must be making satisfactory progress in your program and be supported by
the department in order for it to continue.  This scholarship is subject
to funding and changes.  One of the conditions for this scholarship is
that students must NOT be a recipient of a major external
scholarship/funding. If your tuition fees are being paid by your home
government, Canadian Commonwealth Scholarship, or other funding
agencies, please inform us so that we can apply this scholarship to
other students in need.

congratulations! 的确就是offer嘛！说是如果有external funding的话会相应减少而已。
