The goal of politics should not be the pursuit of an ideal, but rather the search for common ground and reasonable consensus.

I agree with the speaker that the politics should prefer the search for the common ground and reasonable consensus to the pursuit of an ideal. Yet, whether the politics could obtain the enormous political success does not merely depend on the search for common ground and the reasonable consensus but also lofty political goal.

One reason for my fundamental agreement with the speaker is what in order to gain the opportunity for public leadership; a politic has to flatter to the common will of the majority of the electorate. Otherwise, his opponent will do so to get the support of the electorate. The loser of the elections only has plenty of political plans to imagine, let alone with the sublime political goal of him. Even if the politic gain the political power, he still needs the auspices of the common people to maintain his political power.

Another reason why I essentially agree with the speaker is that the objective destination of the political behaviors are to make the society safer, civiler, and more democratic which conforms to the demand of the masses. Moreover, the political measures succeed to execute only the commonage take active role in the process. Without support of the populace, the politic can not accomplish any things he plans to do.

Having recognized that the common ground and the consensus is perquisites for the politic to realize his goal, the politics should also notice the gap between his lofty responsibility of leading the masses to a better society and cynical thoughts of the common people resulting in misconception of the masses on the political measures the politic advocates. Few could deny that the pursuit of the politics should be sublime so that the notable improvement of the society would be made. Taking the reform of china for example, the masses of china witness countless miracle taken places during the reform. We can not forget the immense resistance from the Chinese commonage, was fronted by the great political leader of Xiaoping Deng, although the reform has already been admired by all of Chinese people.

"The problems generated in the progress of improvement, we should solve it in the progress.", the Xiaoping Deng said. The politics should bridge the gap between the lofty political goal between the level of perception of the masses in the progress of performing their measures in order to achieve their lofty political goal, so that they make themselves truly successful leaders.

这个题目不好写~我没有写过，所以只简单说一下~
LZ看能不能这样切题~政治归根结底是人与人之间的关系，那么可不可以从人与人之间的合作说起，政府官员之间、领导人之间，然后再说国家之间的合作~通过合作，寻找共同点和共识，从而达到和平与发展的目的~
个人觉得这样似乎好论证一些，例子也比较多，二战中的盟军合作，反恐中的国际力量~~
想了一点，不知道有没有点启发的作用:victory:
