When the greatness of individuals can be decided seems unclear and controversial to the general population. Different people have the diverse kinds of perspective to this issue. The arguer asserts that the greatness was mainly perceived by the future society rather than their contemporaries, However, while I agree that most of greatness were decided by their descendent in history, I insist that the contemporaries could also decide the greatness of individuals.

To begin with, the greatness should be validated by the long turn, which could only been recognized by the following people. Because some greatness were hampered by the prevalent point, the contradiction lend the less power and accept to learn the general population with correct theory. The Copernius Theory on the relationship with Sun and Earth are well known for such situation. In addition, the greatness of relative theory of Einstein could explain the possibility of difficult to understand by the contemporaries.

On the second place, the advertisement and popularization of some greatness seems weak to promit the specialists or population to know what the smart people done. If Mendalian's genetic theory were recognized by the following scientists, Darwin should understand the mechanisms of biological evolution. As the theory founded by Mendalian only published in less well-known journal, no inspiration could happen without reading the several pages of theory and the results based on sequential and rigorous observation. People should not go so far to see that the greatness of individuals had been recognized by the current society with the advertisement and highly communication. When some companies have found something very powerful and interesting, no suspect on their strategy to broaden the famous of the product and advertise in different media, have been given.

Last but not least, the greatness has been recognized more frequently nowadays than that of history. As the developed International communication and advanced Internet become booming, more and more people could read and understand the works of individuals, then evaluate the virtues for kinds of interests. The art can be easily shown in different counties, music can be conveniently listened by a ticket of concert, and the great findings of science can be spead in several days. Therefore, the contemporaries could justify which subjects are perfect and make the greatness of individuals.

In conclusion, the greatness of individuals could be decided not only by the further examination and observation, but also by the contemporaries. Finding more greatness of individuals, the individuals could be more respectable and feel success, which will stimulate other people to work hard to create new greatness. Therefore, if you find some individuals great, not hesitate to let more people to know this.
