AD@IVY, EE MS

今天收到平信一封，小信封，不薄。看样子不像是据信。仔细看，居然是one school in IVY的，心想多半是被拒了，因为本人的GT都狂低。匆匆撕开，啪~一打纸。再看第一面: I am pleased to inform you of your admission... 狂喜！！！再狂喜！！马上打电话给老爸报喜。老爸问是不是Conditional的。我再往下扫剩下的4段，没看到这个词，回答No。However, 再再仔细看， This offer of admission is contingent upon....TOEFL...minimum 250...呵呵，原来是要我再考TOEFL直到600，或者参加和通过他的英语Program。Anyway, 再考就是，幸好报了今年5T，上次也就是差10分。加油~~。

In sum, This is the AD@IVY for me. 也许对牛人来说不屑一顾，但对我已经基本满足，虽然还有几所学校没消息。

不过学费超级贵，没有资助。试一下陶瓷~~

背景：

GT: T<600, G<1200.
GPA(major): 3.4/4.0
Dual Bachelor's degrees. (非211大学)
Paper: 2 (其中一篇为第1作者)

充分证明我的Academic Background起了相当大的作用！

我申请的是Electrical engineering, not system engineering.
但我喜欢研究的方向，以及我在PS里提到的方向是：Robotics, Intelligent system and Controls.

当时也有考虑申请EE的PhD。但接到那边的回复说，竞争非常激烈， Almost all PhD applicants have perfect research background. 后来怕了，就申MS就算了。
