Should education be designed specifically to meet the individual needs and interest of each student so that the general effectiveness of education will be improved? This is true to some extent, however, we must be aware that since it is not as practicable as it sounds, there are some other ways to realize the truly effectiveness of education. 。)
In the first place, students do need specifically designed education to meet the individuality. Just as the old saying goes: there are no two identical leafs in the world, so it is with people.(下次记得加引号) Students studying in the same class may share different family backgrounds, different personalities and different interests towards various of subjects. One of the most obvious results of this discrepancy is their varieties of professions when they step into the society. Therefore, the primary purpose of education is to help them become creative and inquiring people who have the will and intelligence to conquer in his or her certain field. For instance, medical science education should be provided to students who have special interests in becoming doctors so that they can pursue their career after graduation(这里的student是指high school及以下的学生吗? Besides, education be specifically designed will save a lot of time by which students can concentrate on this particular subject. 呵呵) can often hear students complaining that they're wasting too much time studying curriculums that they are not interested at all. From this point of view, there do exist some advantages for education to be specifically designed.(恩,第一段讲的支持的方面)
Before we fully accept the conclusion, we must realize that the practicability is open to doubt. (TS太简单的套话)On one hand, there are thousands of students with all kinds of interests and needs so that it will be completely impossible for an education system to supply them with all the courses they desire for the lack of fund and teachers. On the other hand, it will also be a complicated task to assess whether these students really benefit from this designed education. Will they truly learn more and better when focused simply on one or two subjects? Will they success easier after graduation? The answer is unclear. Finally, no one can be sure what he really interested in before a certain age, for with the development of one's body and mind, his inclination will vary accordingly. Hence it is irresponsible for education system to teach them specifically. Under all these circumstances, the efficiency and effectiveness of the education will be declined instead of improved.(论证倒是不错,就是感觉有点像argument的用语。
Besides specifically designed subjects, there are some other ways to enhance the effectiveness of education. we can combine the particular and common curriculums together and then change each one's proportions gradually so that students can have a better understanding of where their really interests lie in. (如果刚才那段说为每个学生设计课程是不可能的,那现在说为每个人结合课程,不是同样很难办到?)For instance, when they are in elementary school and middle schools, music, painting, mathematics are required for every students. After they are enrolled in universities, they can partly choose some of the courses that attract them more while still take some which may help them in their future career.(现在西方国家的大学,至少美国的大学就是这样做的,所以例子我觉得不妥。。)With this kind of compound education, students will not only have a wider range of choices when looking for a job, but also foster a deep understanding of life and the world which perfectly carry out the purpose of education.(恩,很保险的一段论述,就是论证有点欠缺考虑)
In sum, in order to attain its maximum effectiveness, education should provide common courses as well as specifically designed ones to help students achieve more in their lives.
