The philosophy of education is always the problem. The skyrocketing 查了W-M:to shoot up abruptly.似乎不太贴切society calls for the best way to teach, whether as a pedagogue, entrepreneur, or patriarch, so as to burgeon ①to send forth new growth②to grow and expand rapidly感觉不太对 youths, accomplish individuals and facilitate the society. One theoretical issue alleges optimum choice will be 直接is好了to praise positive actions and ignore negative ones, however, to find out the appropriate proportion between compliment and criticism will be more important.
Praise is like sunlight to the human spirit; we cannot flower and grow grow和flower交换一下顺序,当然这样也可以的without it. In reviewing the experience before, we may trace some causes which support the view: we felt honorable and pleased when we were recommended for positive action and were more likely to continue such behaviors and chased for more plaudits; while we felt depressed and dissatisfactory when we did not gain praise and were more likely, on the other hand, to move forward in a direction of progress.
Thus, praises have really charm to stimulate all people; however, from example of the past, over-praising invariably causes drawbacks. The situation happened on my classmate illuminate my theory. A genius in my class always got the top rank, and always praised by teachers and accompanier. As time went by, though studied in the same way, dropped behind gradually. I may conclude that self-complacence of honor counteract further consideration of advancement, and fall behind in this changing world, which he himself does not change enough.
We might be more prudent to choose whether ignore negative actions. Admittedly, criticisms are always bitter and hard to swallow. It is because criticism is not born to inspire but to adjust. This is like we are walking on the path leading to success 前句有语法错误,like不能带从句的,andmistaking actions make us on the opposite direction, more conduction means more deviation from the arrival是不是改成which更好呢:which means... and can never drive us to have the goalthat desired, the似乎有点指代不明. Shimin Li, one of the emperors of Qin ;P李世民不是秦朝的吧..?Dynasty in ancient China, who was canonized all correctcorrections ,however, specially esteemed advisers. Thus he could regulate political statutes and cultivate his own morality, and constituted most prosperous era and earned himself highly regarded.改成to constitute and earn ...
Not only ignoring can scathe us itself, but it can also turn benefit of praising positive actions to the inverse side. itself用在这里什么意思?Arrogance will possibly develop in this situation. Those people will immerse in the flowers and bows and refuse every negative advice. This tendency will eventually ruin them by convergence with over-praising that had discussed above.
Of course, we can never negate that neglect of negative actions may sometimes be advisable, in some specific instance. Suppose that one is short of confidence and self-trust, the best way to drag him from the abyss of hurt and affliction is to lose sight of his deficiency and even ‘over-praise’ him.
With fully concerns of the complexity and complication of this issue, even involve with the position we stand, e.g. educator, employer, or parent, how to praise positive actions and ignore negative ones need further discussion. The only conclusions can be drawn is that praise encourage our inherence and criticism confine our weakness.
proper words at the proper place, proper words to the proper audience
我们都存在这个问题,it is really a long way to study English.
