Based on an unconvincing study result, the arguer concluded that the most effective way to reduce the risk of fractures in later life is to take twice the recommended doese of vitamin D and calcium daily.  He hastily implies that it is suplements of recommended dose of vitamin D and calcium given daily to these French women that had eventually led to this perfect result. However, with critical consideration, we would find the reasoning may suffer several fallacies.

First, the authority and authenticity of this study is open to doubt.  The auguer doesn't offer such information as which company or resarch department had set up this study. So we may wonder on these questions: was this study conducted by the purpose of only scientific research, or by some ecnomic resons. Maybe the agency, which had done the study, was financed by a company which was going to advertise their products of this kind. So, it would be obvious there would be some prejudice in the result. Unless the arguer could prove this study was conducted with no bias, it would be difficult for us to accept the validity of this study.

Second, are these women, who were engaged in the study, representive of all the old people of their age? This study doesn't provide any imformation about how these women were chosed, nor did it provide the original health conditions of them. As we all know, France is a developed country which would make these women more likely to live a better life such as the perfect medical cares. So it would be meaningless to compare these French women with other people who live a much different life, especially those lived in poverty. To make this study more convicing, it would be wise to offer some more evidence to show that these French women really have representives and other people chosed to compare also have the some original conditions.

Third, the arguer also ignores the other factors that could also have an impact on the result of the study, and even the fact he cited himself that the women had participated in a weightling program also weaken his assuption. Furthermore, it is easy to see that there are more factors that also could have an effect, such the living conditions, daily food and so on.

In sum, this augument is vulnerable to attack in reasoning in several aspects, especially in the validity of the the study results. Without providing evidence to stengthen his assumption and ruling out other possibilities that also could have influence on the result, we should reserve our consents on such a groundless conclusion.

Based on an unconvincing study result, the arguer concluded that the most effective way to reduce the risk of fractures in later life is to take twice the recommended does(拼写) of vitamin D and calcium daily.  He hastily implies that it is suplements(拼写) of recommended dose of vitamin D and calcium given daily to these French women that had eventually led to this perfect result. However, with critical consideration, we would find the reasoning may suffer several fallacies. (有点意思,没按新东方的写法。)

First, the authority and authenticity of this study is open to doubt.  The augue(拼写)r doesn't offer such information as which company or resarch(拼写) department had set up this study. So we may wonder on these questions(these questions 后面怎么只提出一个问题?…): was this study conducted by the purpose of only scientific research, or by some ecnomic resons(???). Maybe the agency, which had done the study, was financed by a company which was going to advertise their products of this kind. So, it would be obvious there would be some prejudice in the result. Unless the arguer could prove this study was conducted with no bias, it would be difficult for us to accept the validity of this study.(思路独到啊。。。
