我觉得选A，recent表示时间上的对比，选broadly的反义词，A合适。不过答案是E，想不通。

觉得选A，前后并列，no argument对应silence。

分析：E，F同时发生的概率是0.42，即E发生的概率 X  F发生的概率=0.42
        由于概率是大于0小于1的，所以不能判定E发生的概率与0.58的大小关系。

是不是要选一个broadly的递进词，amorphous模糊的，就是将界限模糊了，也就是更广了？
