In this argument ,the arguer concludes that the Saluda school should hire Mr.Schade to plan and direct the general music education programs for the entire Saluda school system.To support the argument,the speaker points out the Steel City school has won three regional band competitions during the time when Mr.Charles has been the music director at school,and that quality of the music rehearal facilities and musical instuments has improved markedly over the same time in the Steel school.This argument is unconvincing for several reasons.

In summary,the argument is not persuasive as it stands.To make it more convincing,the arguer would have to provide more evidence concerning the ralationship between Mr.Charles capabilities in music field and his leadership about govering a partment.To better evaluate the argument,we would need more information regarding such as the salary of Mr.Charles owning for which the Saluda school can afford.
