Scandals-whether in politics, academia, or other areas-can be useful. They focus our attention on problems in ways that no speaker or reformer ever could.

In tranquil life, when some astounding incidents happened, which always connect with the involved person's fame, even fate and are so called scandals, the public vigorously focus their attention on the scandals. As a matter of fact, I strongly agree the above statement that scandals, whether in politics, academia, or other areas, especially the involving persons are usually with high status, focus the public's attention on the incidents in ways that any speaker of reformer could not could.

As the increasingly rapid development of mass media, when some scandals are revealed to a news reporter or news bureau by anyone who knows the inside story of a plot, public will soon be flooded with all kinds of information from television news program, paper news part, and even the majority of the main websites. However, the most important thing is why mass media spare no effort on propagation of scandals? In fact, the answer is easy: (1)some media have a strong sense of morality, and consider the propagation as a justify action.(2)reports about scandals, to some extent, fulfill the public's curiosity about why the celebrity involved in and what has he or she done in the scandal. Thus, both the mass media and the public cooperate perfectly in the strive to focus attention on scandals.

The fear of involving in scandals compels government characters to improve their deportments, and thus accelerate social progress and reform. For instance, a infamous scandal in America's history. In 1973, during the eve of the president election, in one party of the democratic, members found dictograph in the meeting hall which is placed by the republic. Outrageous democratic members reveal the whole incident to the media, and the latter brought a storm to the American politics in the way of reporting the scandal to the public which arouse their fierce opposition , directly leading to the resignation of President Nixon. Since then, the Democratic and the Republic commit no such fallacy in each of the subsequent elections. To some extent, it must be admitted that the progress and reform later in American politics are due to the Watergate Scandal.

However, scandals, sometimes, are used by the politicians who highly realize the influence of scandal to turn the public's sights away from some serious social problems. Take an example. In some country, affected by the Asian financial crisis, economy depressed, unemployment increased, and the government could not find a way to resolve the problem. With the rising opposition from the public, the government turn to the way of scandal, revealing that some officers received bribe. Thus, the public's rage are successfully focused on these officers'individual action, turning away from the inefficiency of government. Anyhow, it is not the responsibility of the public to differentiate from the various scandals with multifarious intention beside them but the responsibility of the media.

In conclusion, scandal could focus public's attention better than any other way. And its great influence on the public reduces it to a two side sword, either side of which could exert immense impact on the whole society which needs the media to distinguish.

In tranquil life, when some astounding incidents happened, which always connect with the involved person's fame, even fate and are so called scandals, the public vigorously focus their attention on the scandals. As a matter of fact, I strongly agree the above statement that scandals, whether in politics, academia, or other areas, especially the involving persons are usually with high status, focus the public's attention on the incidents in ways that any speaker of reformer could not could(去掉).

As the increasingly rapid development of mass media, when some scandals are revealed to a news reporter or news bureau by anyone who knows the inside story of a plot, public will soon be flooded with all kinds of information from television news program, paper news part(什么意思?直接newspapers可以么), and even the majority of the main websites. However, the most important thing(最好换个词,去掉也可以) is why mass media spare no effort on propagation of scandals?(应该是句号) In fact, the answer is easy: (1)some media have a strong sense of morality, and consider the propagation as a justify(justified) action.(2)reports about scandals, to some extent, fulfill the public's curiosity about why the celebrity involved in and what has he or she done in the scandal. Thus, both the mass media and the public cooperate perfectly in the strive(strive是动词) to focus attention on scandals.

The fear of involving in scandals compels government characters(什么意思? 一般character做“人”讲,是小说人物或戏剧角色吧) to improve their deportments, and thus accelerate(accelerates) social progress and reform. For instance, a(an) infamous scandal in America's history.(前面这个成分没有谓语,不是一句话,不能这样表达) In 1973, during the eve of the president election, in one party of the democratic, members found dictograph in the meeting hall which is placed by the republic. Outrageous democratic members reveal the whole incident to the media, and the latter brought a storm to the American politics in the way of reporting the scandal to the public which arouse their fierce opposition, directly leading to the resignation of President Nixon.

With the rising opposition from the public, the government turn(turns or turned) to the way of scandal, revealing that some officers received bribe(reveal 不能这么用,你可以说“scandal reveals一种社会问题”,而不能说“scandal reveals scandal的内容”,可以直接去掉reveal或者用“-”取代revealing that). Thus, the public's rage are(is) successfully focused on these officers' individual action, turning away from the inefficiency of government.(这句话的主语是rage,所以位于不能用focus,可以用be shifted to) Anyhow, it is not the responsibility of the public to differentiate from(differentiate a and b,是vt.) the various scandals with multifarious intention beside(besides) them but the responsibility of the media.(觉得你的这个结论和文章主题无关,有点画蛇添足;此外,段内结论句应该呼应此段的首句)

In conclusion, scandal could focus public's attention better than any other way. And its great influence on the public reduces it to a two side(sided) sword, either side of which could exert immense impact on the whole society which needs the media to distinguish.

Take a infamous instance in American history!

With the rising opposition from the public, the government turn to the way of scandal, revealing that some officers received bribe.

...

1、“Take a infamous instance in American history!“ 妹子,我是说a-->an 因为后面是元音
