今天同时收到了PITTS的EE据信和CSU的master EE的ad，没有钱，分了老师，让我尽快联系，心理有些失落，不想去。没有offer，家里那有那么多钱供我，另外PU给我一个电话，问我原不愿意把申请 Ph.D改为申请master，给半奖，我只能说愿意，很伤心，那个老师告诉我申请Ph.D的全是中国人，反而申请master的中国人很少，所以就随机给我打了一个电话询问，真不知道是福还是祸。这一年真是过得百感交集啊，唉，人生！！

系主任发EMAIL通知说录了,但不清楚奖学金情况,让我等正式录取信来后再看.
这是我申的十二所学校里专业排名第三的学校啊,UW之上的我还申了UIUC和GATECH.
真没想到啊,我都已经在准备去IIT了.
现在看来可能有更好的去处了
祝所有GTER都有DREAM SCHOOL的OFFER来猛砸自己.
相信努力过后是有结果的

We have completed our review of your application. You will receive the
acceptance letter from UMR very soon. I will support your study at UMR.

However, it came into my attention last week that the Chinese government
will fully support several thousands of TOP students for their oversea
study for three years. I thought it would be good if you can apply for
that program. Please contact your graduate school. The application
deadline on your side must be March 31, 2007. If you do receive Chinese
funds, there would be two significant benefits:

1. It would give me more flexibility to sponsor your participation in
several conferences, which will be of great help to your career
development.
2. Your dissertation does not have to tie into a specific project. We
can choose something more innovative to our best interests.

Please let me know if you would like to pursue the three-year funds from
China at your convenience. Of course, I will still support you even you
don't want to apply for the Chinese funds.

accepted to our program.  An official offer letter will be mailed to you
shortly.  Your name now appears on a list of accepted students who will be
considered for research assistantships.  Those will be awarded in March and

昨天收到U michigan环境工程的ad，上面说recommend给研究生院，但只字未提钱的事情。已经去信问小米奖学金是没有还是怎样。

有强人知道么？希望只是先发ad，奖学金还在评审中。可怜还要熬会了

前几天我拿到的一个virginia tech就是这样的，先给ad，奖学金还要再等等才有消息

今早收到的：

I wanted to let you know that we plan on admitting you to the Interdisciplinary Ph.D. Program in Communication at Arizona State University. We also plan to offer you an assistantship. More information will be coming in a letter that we will send very soon.

All of this is, however, contingent on your application being certified by the Division of Graduate Studies. As soon as that happens, however, we plan on taking action.

没说多少钱，只说assistantship & tuition waiver
另外问个问题，email里面说让我尽快提交I-20 request form和护照复印件，那是不是如果提交了就等于接受这个offer了呢？
