提纲：
第一，        部分赞同作者观点。丑闻有时确实能够起到任何演说家或者改革家所不能起到的引起高度关注的作用。但是有时丑闻也会掩盖事物的其他的重要方面。
第二，        水门事件这一丑闻让我们反思联邦的制度是否存在缺陷。双布在伊战前对情报的夸大的丑闻引发我们深思情报系统的运作是否有缺陷。
第三，        除了政治领域而外的丑闻：学术腐败问题、世界杯黑哨问题等涉及行业规范的丑闻。
第四，        虽然丑闻有时确实能引起比演说家和改革家所能带来的更高度的关注并引发人们对问题本质的思考，但是有些丑闻确实掩盖了事物的更重要的方面。最后总结一下。

正文：
I agree with the author that sometimes the scandal can bring a man or one thing to the focus of the entire world’s attention, which can not be reached by the speakers and reformers. But I disagree with the author that the scandal is always useful. In my opinion, sometimes the scandal will distract the people’s attention from other more important things.

There are two examples which come from the political field. The first one is the Watergate scandal. All the people might think about the reason of the scandal after it. Then, people would exert high pressure on the government, in order to make the American political system more transparent and more efficient. That is, the scandal had a positive influence on the government and the society. The other one is about George bush and Tony Blair, who are the president of the USA and the premier of the UK respectively. The two had exaggerated the information about the Iraq’s nuclear weapon before the Iraq war, in order to convince the entire world’s people that Iraq has made/produced nuclear weapons. But after the war, until now, no nuclear weapons have been found in Iraq. The scandal has revealed that even the words of the national leaders are unbelievable. It leads the public to suspect the government, and at last, the result will be that the government will become more honest to the public.

Besides the scandals in politics, there are many other scandals exist in the society. For example, the academic scandals, the sports scandals. During the recent years, the academic corruption has caused more and more concerned. People can find much information through the academic corruption. As more and more people concern the academic scandals, many people have put forward their suspension about the academic system. Maybe, it is just the abnormal academic system that leads to so many academic scandals. As to the sports scandals, it is obvious that the rule is not rigorous. If the rule is rigorous enough, the judge would not be partial. And if the penalty is rigorous enough, those sportsmen will not take the stimulant. Both academic scandals and sports scandals have active effect on the society, and they are all useful, just like the author said.

Well, despite the above positive effect, sometimes scandals will also give birth to negative influence on the society. Some scandals will distract people’s attention from other more crucial events. That is why I don’t totally agree with the author. In sum, the author’s opinion is partly correct. Some scandals undoubtedly produce effective influences on the society, Those positive scandals can lead people to think over the related fields, which often leads to the society to become better and better. But some scandals don’t have such positive effect. They can only distract people’s attention, which often have bad result.


写作感想：现在觉得issue也不是很难啊——虽然自己写的还是很搓，但是我觉得已经有进步了——呵呵！不过觉得对于这篇而言，我觉得还应该写一下丑闻分散注意力的方面，但是苦苦思索也找不到相关的例子，所以只好作罢——毕竟晚上就要交作业了——没时间细想了。

一，        关于语言：
1，        语言流畅。好！
2，        如果多一些衔接就更好。
3，        能力有限，用词方面不能给出好的建议。抱歉！

二，        关于结构：
1，根据你的第一段，你的论点偏向于：In my opinion, sometimes the scandal will distract the people’s attention from other more important things.
2，根据你的全文，你的论点偏向于：to mainly agree with the author’s claim。因为，你的主要部分（二三段）都是论述的scandal的好处。
3，个人觉得，如果你能改写第一段。方案一，减弱思想性，全面赞同；方案二，在结尾段前加一段，着重论述scandal的坏处（其实，好坏坏，这样三段才更配你的第一段）。

三，        关于段落写作：
1，        个人建议，尽量采取“总分总”的段落构成方法。
2，        你的每段都写得很好。可惜，没有统一地为中心服务，也没能明显地（字面上的）为中心服务。如果多一些呼应应该会更好。
