Issue 4:No field of study can advance significantly unless outsiders bring their knowledge and experience to that field of study.

Study, which is the action of researchers to apply their minds in understanding a subject, is for the purpose of satisfying human's insatiable appetite to grasp knowledge.Concerning this, the author asserts that only when outsiders bring their knowledge and experience to it could the field of study advance significantly, with which I would strongly agree only in some fields appropriate to assimilate outside knowledge.

As a threshold matter, I would point out that the argument would be problematic when we apply some fundamental subjects to it.This is because that no relavant knowledge of other fields I could imagine would be beneficial to the study of these subjects.Taking mathmatics for example,since its theories are developed by only inducing from the theories that have been accepted and some axioms, therefore, other fields could only help math decide the objective and demonstrate which theories that math develops are efficient in application, but little could be done by the knowledge from other fields with mathmatics.In other words, mathmatics could make a breakthrough only with the knowledge in its own field.Graphic theory which developed with great interest and the desire to find the universal answer to solve the "seven-bridge" problem by Euclid aptly illustrate this, rigorous reasoning and only this assist Euclid to accomplish his objective.

Apart from the fundamental subjects that only relies on themselves to arrive at the condition of harmony, other fields, especially science, would advance significantly when outside knowledge comes,especially when some obstacles are on the way leading to the objective and couldn't be eliminated only by the knowledge in its own field. For supporting examples one need look no further than Machine Learning, a branch of Artificial Intelligence.At prime tense, Machine learning study only bases on the hazy logical reasoning, however, the progeny isn't satisfying and this statue lasts for a period of time until the neuron theory brings into and is applied in the field.It is obvious that this theory generates from a branch of biology.The breakthrough is due to the new pespectives to look at the problem and the new efficient methods to solve it. Another example comes to my mind which would aptly illustrate this is astronomy, which almost entirely depends on the development of the scope to observe new phenomenon and the new physics theory to explain it.In short, some amazing fruits are born in some science subjects only when other fields provide them with new means to remove the rock on the road.

Further more, perhaps the reason why a lot of prominent giants in science have variety of interests in different areas, not only their field of study ,could be explained by the broad argument that the field of study would advance when other fields' knowledge and experience is brought in, comparing with the author's argument. Consider Zhen ning Yang, who won the Nobel Prize of Physics, and he once said(and I paraphrase):"If you think that I'm  only interested in physics and only study in physics all day and night, you are wrong. The Chinese archaic poems and mathmatics also open up other gates of inspiration into the physics world and also color my life." This indicates the contributions done by other knowledge to inspire the study of the original field.

In conclusion, in the science field knowledge from other fields would not only provides with new perspectives on the study, but also give the inspiration to make a breakthrough while in fundamental subjects other areas' experience would not be very helpful.

只是你好像不太习惯在句子之间加空格,类似  ……now.you are……

另外关于issue4我还想补充一个论证角度:
one subject always provides fresh materials for other fields of study to research and help them progress.
Examples:
astronomy---physics (yours)
archeology--- history and cultrue study
