The survey asked video-game players what features they thought were most important in a video game. According to the survey, players prefer games that provide lifelike graphics, which require the most up-to-date computers. Whirlwind has just introduced several such games with an extensive advertising campaign directed at people 10 to 25 years old, the age-group most likely to play video games. It follows, then, that the sales of Whirlwind video games are likely to increase dramatically in the next few months."

On the surface, this article seems logical, nevertheless, oweing to invalid survey, the article fails to be convincing. As the article provide, Whirwind has just introducd several game, and these games provide lifelike graphics, but, merely based on theses dubious evidence, no one could draw a valid conclusion.
In the first place, whirlwind neglects to mention other features, and it is possible that other features are also uesful. Although the lifelike graphics is the most important one, only through the improvement in graphics, Whirlwind is unlikely to reverse the edded sales. After all a popular game should owns multitude of advantages which could cause a everlasting interest. For instance, the music.The desirable music influence our attitude to video game as same as to a movie.Another example is the plot, if the game is based on an ravishingly story, the plot will be an additional attraction. In a word, whirlwind require comprehensive improvement, not just from graphics.
In the second place, the games, which are introduced by Whirlwind, direct at people 10 to 25 years old, but the survey faced to entire video-game players. Even if we concede that people 10 to 25 years old are more likely to play video game, as this age-group is so limited, it is aburd to disregard other players. Adults are willing to play the game because of the tension from socity and community. Even children like play video games, since morden life increase the gap of people, and the pupils does not have enough playmates.It is more likely that other age-group have larger amount than 10 to 25 years old. In conclusion, it is need to make a further survey to see clear the current situation.
In the third place, the game require up to date computer is hardly to prevail over the whole socity.It is likely that up to date computers is too luxuriant to people 10 to 25 years old afford. The teenagers pay most time at shool, and they does not earn money at all, and peoples just graduate equally lacks income. Fitting most computers, the video game will be gratful.
