Nowadays, with the ever-increasing complexity and changes of the society, more and more fields of studies place much emphasis on the acquirements of the knowledge and experience from the other(the是不是可以不要) fields, so as to solve the complicated problems and puzzles effectively and swiftly. Undoubtedly, this acquisition of methods and theories in outside areas do great good and bring powerful impetus to the significant development of the certain discipline in many aspects.
To begin with, it is obvious that one discipline has a variety of direct connections with the other disciplines in plenty of aspects; therefore the progress in one particular discipline undeniably would give rise to the directly related disciplines. A case in point is the research in time series analysis in the field of Econometrics, and one of its basic components is Principles of Probability. Clive Granger, the Nobel Award laureate in Economics in 2003, designed a new model through the acquired mathematical knowledge to implement the time series analysis, which finally successfully opens a door for the whole world to understand especially the law in financial market and help us to process, predict the trend of the stock market more accurately. Without the knowledge in mathematics and deep understanding, such a prominent work can never be done.

Besides the direct linkages, the underneath indirect relationships usually also exist between different disciplines, which may be revealed through a scrutiny. And the indirect relationship may probably serve to spark fresh ideas and new approaches to bring breakthrough to contemporary research. For instance, the research and development of computer science seems less related with Econometrics; however the newly invented software helps the Econometrics to process and analyze the numerous data through way of regression in accuracy and a high speed. In the past, some relevant software such as Eviews, SPSS(居然会用这个,厉害厉害) could only deal with common regression analysis, nonetheless the current software just as SAS(不会都会吧。。) turns much more powerful and flexible to satisfy the econometricians' demand.
direct indirect 怎么分的,理论与工具?很模糊。
Without the affluent and fresh information from the different areas, the development of respective discipline may prove to be rather slow and lack of initiative and creativity. For instance, without the universal adoption of mathematics and statistics in the early period of development, Economics evolves particularly slow and tardy, since many of the study are centered with quality (是不是应该quantity)analysis, which to a great extent could only give an obscure description.
In addition, the frequently mutual communication between different disciplines has become a prevalent approach and a common trend in current study and research. For example, statistic analysis has been brought in a plenty of fields, including medicine, biology, and astronomy and so on. Meanwhile, computer science almost enters all the other fields to development its powerful processing capability.
In a word, the further and significant progress of most fields may not happen without the knowledge from other fields, due to the fresh ideas, creative approaches, even inspiration from outside fields. Therefore, it is imperative for every field to take advantage of the advanced knowledge and experience of others.
