MILAN - Inter came back from three goals down to beat Roma 4-3 after extra time and lift the Italian Super Cup for the second season running.

Patrick Vieira scored twice with Hernan Crespo and Luis Figo adding the others as Mancini's men staged an incredible fightback to seal Inter their third Italian Super Cup triumph in the competition's 19-year history. Inter become the third club to win back-to-back Super Cup titles after Juventus (2002, 2003) and AC Milan (1992, 1993, 1994).

Luciano Spalletti's side ran rings around the Nerazzurri in the first half with Alberto Aquilani scoring twice after Mancini's opener to put Roma 3-0 up after just 34 minutes.

Roma took a 13th-minute lead through Amantino Mancini who nodded in after Zanetti and Toldo failed to clear Panucci's cross.

Aquilani added his team's second goal twelve minutes later, sliding past Toldo and into the bottom left-hand corner after a defence-splitting one-two with Francesco Totti.

The Giallorossi capitalised on Inter's indecision at the back, Aquilani finishing off a well-worked move to score his second and give the visitors a seemingly unassailable lead.

But it wasn't to be. Vieira opened his scoring account for Inter on the stroke of half time to give the Nerazzurri a lifeline. The France captain rose in the box and powered a header from Figo's cross past goalkeeper Doni.

Roberto Mancini made two early changes in the second half, bringing on Maicon for Fabio Grosso and Hernan Crespo for Adriano, and the Argentine forward Crespo obliged with Inter's second goal four minutes later. The Argentine forward stole in at the near post to meet Stankovic's pin-point cross and direct his header over the line.

Playing with renewed belief, Inter continued to produce chances coming forward and drew level when Vieira slid Ibrahimovic's cross-shot into the roof of the net and lift the roof off the Meazza.

Luis Figo completed the comeback in the first period of extra time, finding the top left corner with a well taken free kick to make it a good end to a bad start.

It was the opposite for Roma, who ended the match with ten men after Cristian Chivu was shown a straight red card for sarcastically applauding the referee following a challenge on Cambiasso.

说得没错，这场比赛首发的IB＋AD的前锋配置俄就觉得有问题。这两个人风格很相似，应该是Crespo＋IB or AD。Crespo的杀手气质，以及跑位和抢点能力正是国际米兰所需要的，他应该首发……

还有就是对于Roma这种进攻配合速度比较快，并且锋线高度并不高的球队，首发中卫配置应该是Samuel＋转身回追速度较快的Cordoba……

这场比赛Figo的表现暴强啊，上半场打右路，下半场打左路，突破、过人、分球都是非常弓虽的，一点也看不出来已经是34岁的人了……
要不是Viera进了2个球，Figo就应该是本场最佳了……:victory:
