小弟本科学的的是统计，想去那边读精算专业，只查到国立和麦考瑞这两所学校有精算专业，是否还有别的学校有精算这个专业？

还有，master和Graduate Diploma有什么区别？

Master of Actuarial Practice will commence in 2007 providing a graduate conversion program for non actuarial graduates to gain actuarial professional accreditation.



This new course provides an opportunity for graduates who hold a Bachelor degree in a science or business-related discipline and have strong mathematical skills to complete Parts 1 and 2 of the Institute of Actuaries of Australia professional qualifications.

Students are also able to complete further specialised study in actuarial science and related areas such as statistics finance and economics.


It also suits students who wish to pursue a research based higher degree in Actuarial and related Statistical Science instead of seeking professional accreditation. Students wishing to use the degree for this purpose may enrol in one of the research project units and will need to discuss their proposed research with the Professor of Actuarial Studies.

Master of Actuarial Practice

The program is structured to allow students to complete Part 2 of the Institute of Actuaries of Australia professional qualifications as part of the degree. It provides in depth specialisation with all but two optional units specialising in actuarial subjects. This postgraduate degree is delivered by the Graduate Accounting and Commerce Centre (GACC).


Master of Commerce in Business (Actuarial Studies)   BUSN03P - Actuarial Studies

Master of Commerce in Business (Actuarial Studies) is suitable for graduates who hold a bachelor degree in actuarial studies or equivalent professional qualifications. The program is structured to allow students to complete Part 2 of the Institute of Actuaries of Australia professional qualifications as part of the degree. This degree provides a broader based degree with four optional units able to be taken from other business disciplines.  This postgraduate degree is delivered by the Graduate Accounting and Commerce Centre (GACC).

600/credit point，算便宜的了。要不你去UNSW、USYD、Monash看看，哪个学校的学费不在3万澳元以上？
