题目：ISSUE17 - "There are two types of laws: just and unjust. Every individual in a society has a responsibility to obey just laws and, even more importantly, to disobey and resist unjust laws."

Is there a clear line between just laws and unjust laws thus individuals in a society should only obey just laws and resist unjust laws?  I do not agree with the speaker because I believe that whether a law is just or unjust is a quite subject question. Further, even the law seems unjust to most people, people should simply just disobey and resist it.
      My first compelling argument is about the concept of the so-called just laws and unjust laws. Law is enforced by authority to govern the affairs of a community. From different groups of people's standpoint, since a special affair involves interest of them, whether the law is just or unjust is not a easy issue. Consider the homosexual marriage: in the homosexuals' point of view, to marry each other is the human right of themselves which have no business of others; while in the conservatives' eyes, what these homosexuals do are crazy and seriously do harm to the total society's ethos. Whether the law of allowing the homosexual marriage is just or not cannot be simply judged. So, I do not agree with the speaker for the reason above.
     Secondly, even a law is unjust according to most people's views in the society; people cannot disobey and resist unjust laws without considering other facts. Business men may always think that the tax is too heavy, but if they resist the law on taxation, where does the money the country needs come from thus how the government can develop the public installations? Another example involves the fast pauperization in China. Maybe the family planning in China seems unjust to Chinese: the government seems to have limited the human right of people. However, if the Chinese people had resisted these systems on population, the population of China now might quite probably have increased to over two billion which could make half of Chinese are hungry everyday. In conclusion, people's just simply resisting the unjust laws without considering other facts may lead to tremendous effects.
    Nevertheless, sometimes it is the process resisting laws that leads to the development of the laws system and even the whole society. We can have a review on the United States' laws system. It is Martin Luther King, the famous black people leader who resists those unfair laws on black people, who drive the legislation reform on racial discrimination forward. History tells us when people are discontent enough with the society and the law, they will begin to
disobey, resist and overthrow all the unfair things of the society.
    In conclusion, I do not believe that there is absolute so-called just laws and unjust laws. Men also cannot simply to resist those laws they thinks unjust. On the other hand, the discontent of the law, in turn, impulses the development of legislation. We should spare no effort to try to consummate the legislation.

楼主的语言行云流水，很是佩服。法律题比较难，对于同性恋结婚的法律的探讨好像和人对法的行为关系不大。个人认为，这个命题有两部分组成：法的善恶和人们对法的善恶的对应的行为。结论在人的行为，法的善恶是前提。
