字数:628          用时:1:15:00          日期:2006-11-27
性格决定态度,但环境对我们的态度有很大的影响
1 环境影响我们的行为。
2 环境影响我们的性格
3 性格决定态度。
4 简单举一个偏见的例子
Are people's attitudes determined more by their immediate situation than by any internal characteristic as the speaker claims? I concede that the outside situation or surrounding has great influence on our attitudes. However, in my view, the internal characteristic, or otherwise the personality, defines our attitudes in most cases in that the distinctness of characteristic leads to different angles to see issues and also defines our reaction or behavior the certain issue.

Admittedly, the external features such as the surrounding or situation has great impact on our actions and behavior. Faced different cases, we have diverse attitudes, and in turn cause alternative strategies and solutions, in a word, flexible. Such flexibilities are sourced from our intelligence or instinct, and the society has distributed various roles to alternative individuals as well. As a policeman, when the criminals are committing crimes, though other plains could escape for life, it is the responsibility for that policeman to defend public security and strive with the criminals.  Many people would like to condemn unfairness; however, if you are beneficial from such unfairness, you may feel it is sensible and reasonable that the world could not get rid of injustices. Which thoroughly illustrate the outside influence on our attitudes.

In addition, to some extent, the outside situation defines our personality. In that most, our personalities are rooted on our educational background, such as school education, parental education, and social education, and experiences, which are the accumulations of issues we have faced and their consequences, as well. The outside situation impacts our personality through the effects on our experiences. The personality is not innate since our born, it is what we have experienced or told defines what kind of man we are. It is understandable that generally a person who was brought up in a ruthless family obtaining little love from parents and relatives turn out to behavior rude and outrageous to others and maintain a hostile attitude to the society, Meanwhile, a person has experienced happiness and warmness in life are tend to hold a positive attitude to the world.

However, Such as the inside genes determine whether we are human beings or other sorts of animals, the internal characteristic determines our attitude toward the world. Though there are somehow common perspectives on some issues. Take World War 2 for instance, we all believe that Hitler is the devil who launches the war, and it is apparent that which nations are on the side of justice and which are not. Whereas there are a myriad of cases lack consensus and how to realize such outside situation are based on our own characteristics. In the same situation, different people may have diverse opinions. For example, as a pessimist, person with fear and a little setback will be deemed as a huge disaster, and then frightened to fight with the inconvenient situation and try hard to make changes. Whereas an optimist, who always think about the brightness of life, may keep on struggling until the success comes at last. When Beethoven lost his audition in his middle age and also the peak of his career, by virtue of his strong and tenacity, he didn’t change his attitude to life and keep on composing melodies, contributing to the world the great symphony “Destiny”.

Moreover, most people have preconception or even prejudice about some certain cases; hence take different attitude to such cases.  It is the characteristic that defines our preconception thinking about the world. For instance, a man with strong tendency of racial discrimination will always behold a despising attitude to other races, whatever the situation or surrounding is.

To sum up, our attitudes are not determined by immediate situation or surrounding, but rather by our inward characteristic in that the characteristic define the way we deem the world。
这一篇我觉得很难写。 写的很郁闷,我自己都觉得很乱!

I concede that the outside situation or surrounding has great influence on our attitudes. However, in my view, the internal characteristic, or otherwise the personality, defines our attitudes in most cases in that the distinctness of characteristic leads to different angles (for us不知道该不该加,感觉see得有个主语)to see issues and also defines our reaction or behavior(to) the certain issue.

Admittedly, the external features such as the surrounding or situation has(have) great impact on our actions and behavior.
