我昨天发了封email给NU，问deadline可不可以延期

Thank you for your interest in Northwestern.  I am very sorry the

from January 1 to January 12.  If you are able to access the Internet
+ @* G/ I5 ^( E8 `at any time on or before January 12, you may submit your application
online.  Alternatively, we can send you a paper version of the
application which you may complete and mail to Northwestern on or
' a0 B6 L) W* v1 L9 l* h$ obefore January 12.

If you wish for us to mail you a paper version of the application we
# v' h; V+ A6 b( a) f& w; iwill mail it to you via Federal Express.  If you would like this
! T$ T$ L" S' v4 A: N  ?please give us a mailing address and telephone number to which we can
  J  n( k+ Z' umail the application.  Alternatively we can fax a copy of the
