130. "How children are socialized today determines the destiny of society. Unfortunately, we have not yet learned how to raise children who can help bring about a better society."
现在孩子的社会化程度决定了社会的命运。可惜的是，我们还没有学会教孩子怎么样去建设一个更好的社会。

提纲：
1.     首先孩子的社会化程度并不是决定社会命运的最重要因素。社会化是一个广泛且模糊的概念，没有办法正确定义。并且随着社会的不断发展和进步，社会化也是不断在随之而变化的。社会的命运更大程度的应该是由现在孩子的教育程度（包括科学文化知识和道德品质教育）来决定的。

2. 再者我们本来就无法直接的教育孩子如何去建设一个更好的社会，因为这个概念也太宽泛了。社会是由各个领域，各个层次的人所组成的。中国唐代诗人李白的诗词中说道：不知庐山真面目，只缘身在此山中。正因为这样，甚至已经深入社会的我们自己都无法解释清楚社会是如何构建的，如何才能建设得更好。

3.     我们每个人都是社会的一个分子，在构建整个社会中起到了各自的重要作用。所以做好自己的工作，遵守社会的秩序就能够合力创造一个和平，稳定，平等，发达的社会环境。例子：无论世界首富，还是平民矿工，他们都在为这个社会填砖加瓦，只是社会角色不同，但是缺一不可。从古至今社会都是一个大家庭，没有哪个人可以自行创建一个社会或者负担起建设整个社会的重任。

4.     综上所述，第一：并不是孩子的社会化决定了社会的命运，第二：如何建设一个更好的社会是孩子将来自己考虑的事情，我们所要做的就是教会他们如何做一个对社会有用的人，以及如何去学习有用的科学知识。

Nowadays, more and more people are worried about the socialization of children and how to raise them who can help bring a better society. In my point of view, we do not need to be anxious about either children’s socialization or how to guide them for a better society because none of the two factors can decide the destiny of society. My reasons of that lies bellow.

First of all, children’s socialization is a vague concept and is hard to define correctly but a key factor which influences the future society’s fortune. Besides, socialization always changes with the unceasing improvement of society. If we cast a look back to the history of human society, it is the revolution of science technology that pushes the whole society forward, instead of some other reasons. From the invention of gunpowder and papermaking in China to the discovery of penicillin and DNA in western world, each big revolution of industry or medicine signified the great progress of society. From this angle, I think, the destiny of society is largely determined by people’s education level including both the science and the morality. So we should focus on children’s education but socialization.

Furthermore, it is true that we can not teach children that how to build a better society directly and visualized because the definition of building a better society is way too wide to say. The human society is highly complicated and composed of a large number of various fields and people. A rhesis from the famous poet Li Bai of Tang Dynasty in ancient China said: Having no idea of Mt.Lushan true self, because I am deep in this mountain. We could not explain that how a society be made up and how to make it better all better for us living in this society and being a part of it. So, things are not that we have not yet learned how to raise children who can help bring about a better society but there is not a way to teach children about that at all.

In addition, we are not only a single part of society, but also take our respective important role in the world. In my viewpoint, everyone whether rich or poor, man or women, is indispensable for the whole society as he/she shoulders part of work to hold and improve the society. Bill Gates, the richest man in the world, could not succeed and gather such tremendous treasure without his employees who may live in the bottom of the society. Only when everyone in the pyramid of stratum pulls his/her weight at the same time, the structure and situation of society would be stable and better. From above, instructing children to do their parts is an effective way to bring a better society.

To sum up, first, it is not the socialization that decides the destiny of society; second, how to build a better society is the business of children in the future, and what we should do now is to teach them how to become a useful person to society and how to gather more science technology to get ready to devote into social works in order to make the society better.
