The speaker would prefer(偶就想不出来这么说~) the education is specifically designed for each students instead of serving to offer a unified educational system,(perfer a to b a和b是不是应该都是名词形式啊) as he/she opines that it is the only way to make education truly effective. I concede that the speaker's idea indeed responds today's tendency of student-centered education, but it seems that the proposition is too idealistic to go into effect, and it may finally undermine the function of education.
As it is known, the education's fundamental mission is enlightening and helping people escape from being illiterates(看着有点别扭啊 ignorance行吗:). Young students always lack the ability of analyzing and judgement(judging比较对称啊), and their interests are always whims that cannot endure long, so it is educators' duty to offer guidence until students are able to make up their mind. Besides, the common sense, only upon which the profound academic knowledge could be constructed, is essential to either individuals or society. Thus, even if there are people who are likely to be reluctant to absorb knowledge from some certain subjects, a common core curriculum should be provided for introducing(感觉多余啦) basic knowledge, such as arithmetic, to all students. In a word, before students' independent thinking is built and the basic knowledge is instilled, education should not pursue for the higher goal of satisfying each students' own preference.
Furthermore, over-specific education will narrow students' ken. If the educational system adopts the policy of only feeding knowledge to students following what they like, instead of making positive effects to students' development, however, it is probably that the method would impair their further studying and even set obstacles in their daily life. For instance, a student who is talented in the language while has never been taught how(多余啊) to count numbers, may be fooled when pay bills--even though he/she can speak several languages. On the other hand, with the era of information explode(?) and the advancing technology, people always exposure to overflowing fresh things which sometimes are complicated. Hence, over-specific education, which brings about lacking knowledge of interdisciplinarity, may impede people to understand new concepts and utilize advanced tools to benefit their daily life.
Meanwhile, it is unfeasible to design an educational system to content each student’s needs and interests, as no government or organization could afford the consumption of tremendous teaching resources required by this project. Especially in some populous countries, such as China, which owns 300 million students, can hardly ensure the quality of instruction to each individual is equally high. Therefore, if the "education of truly effective" is defined as the speaker maintains, those countries may never achieve the state.
In sum, the specifically designing education for catering to inclination of each student is an unwise method as well as impractical. This over-specific education is even detrimental to both individuals and nations in long-term, as a truly effective one should offer enough basic knowledge to all students and broaden their ken.
