However, I concede the speaker’s opinion for several reasons below.

First, the technology, which is the main power of societies, greatly increased the people’s efficiency. As we review the history, we can see how profoundly technology and science have changed out lives. The introduction of steam machine, for example, dramatically increased efficiency of a great deal of manpower labor works. In agriculture, the development of tools and technology promote the production of produce, and release the burden of farmers. Furthermore, in many modern plants, there is only few workers and almost the whole producers are controlled by computers. A mathmatics used years to conculate the math problems, which could be solved in minutes by using computer.

Moreover, with the development of the technology, people’s life has also been improved greatly. More and more electronic machines, such as washing mashies, microwaves, TV come into most people’s family, which help people do homework and brings joy and information to people. Increasing number of people have got to enjoy this modern life. To keep up the advance of technology, the kinds of product become numberious, so consumers have more choices. With the dramatic booming of internet, many people can connection efficiency, sending mails, watching movies online, chatting with strangers, all of which are unimaginable before. The computer technology led us into an age of information.

But, as the technological advancement bring us all, learning have to master one technology cost our time. For this, we even spend years on the course, but we though it valuable. Further more, technology reform brings charming games and leisure, which consume our time greatly. For example, many people, especially young man engaged in the internet and hardly to face the reality life. After work, thousands people used to spend the whole night before TV. Human beings have become slaves to their own machines.

In sum, the technological development mainly improves the level of people’s life, but to some extent, it is harmful to a few aspects of human beings. All we should do is to prevent the negative impact and advanced the wonderful development of technology.
