I70"In any profession—business, politics, education, government—those in power should step down after five years. The surest path to success for any enterprise is revitalization through new leadership."在任何领域中----商业、政治、教育、政府----掌权者应该在五年后就让位。这是任何机构获得成功的最好的方式:通过更新领导者而保持活力。
my position: disagree
1 admittedly, lifetime leader may jeopardize the success of a enterprise.
   on the hand, no fear of losing power, the leaders may abuse power;
   on the other hand, when the leaders get old, their mind and physical conditions would become a barrier for them
2 However,although the change of new leadership may bring some benefit, it cannot not resolve the problem thoroughly.
3 The best way to achieve and maintain the success in any profession should be a revolution in the system

Nowadays there is a growing concern over whether a limited term should be imposed on those who are in power. Some people even
propose that the leaders should step down after five year with no regard to the profession he or she is in. As far as I am concern, I'm
inclined to believe that the success cannot depend on the time of the term and a better system should be established.

Admittedly, lifetime leadership could jeopardize the development of a profession. On the one hand, with no fear of losing power, the
leaders may abuse it.  Many economic problems such as nepotism, graft, and corruption will be the result of this power that has no
penalty for any behavior. Just as Sir. Acton once said, "Absolute power leads to absolute corruption." On the other hand, when these
leaders get old, their mind and physical condition will not fit their position any more. For example, when an old manage of a company is
attending an important meeting which has lasted for two hours, finally he gets exhausted and makes a wrong decision that brings a
huge damage to his company.

However, although the frequent change in leadership may bring some benefit to a profession, it cannot solve the problem thoroughly.
We should concede that new leaders might bring about many new ideas which can give revitalization to the profession. And the whole
profession can be instill in a kind of vigor as the new leader is young and full of energy. There is still one point we must remember,
experience also plays an important role in reaching success. The new leader needs a period of time to adjust himself to this position,
and an even longer time to find the best way to lead. Further more, too frequent change of the leader may produce a sense of
instability, which would undermine the profession's development in long run.

In order to reach success, what we should do is to establish a better system about how to select the suitable person to be the leader
and a set of standards of what a leader should and should not do as well as some rules to ensure that the system and standards can
be carried out seriously.

To conclude, term of leadership is not the key of success. Only when we introduce a reasonable system of selecting leaders, will we find the excellent leader and depend on him or her to guide us to success.
