I thought I have too much reading and writing to do. But when I see your post, I realize I am a little better than you. Too much readings before each class, all the discussion in class is based on the reading materials. I find out many books the teacher assigned is even harder than the GRE:funk:

keep on fighting together.
Don't forget to keep fit.

Actually, I prefer to live on campus, but short of finance, I have to rent a house off campus.
Find a bed to sleep in is urgent, other furnitures can be settled later.
My room was empty in the first few days. It took me 7 days or so to get the box and mattress.
And now I have some more furnitures, but I am still looking for a study desk.

I only got a inflate air bed now~~

We plan to buy a dinning table and two chairs, others do not plan to get, it would be horrible to get them back and move all the furnitures out next semester...:o

Finally, I will have 6 courses this semester(16 units) and a proficiency exam in the field of biology which should be passed before the mid November otherwise I will evan unable to choose the courses in the spring semester.

Ha Ha～I prefer to live off-campus which means I will have more choices concerning the type and area of my apartment.

I bought my headboard, box, study desk, chair from a used furniture store near St Louis's Lambert Airport myself and paid extra dilevery money for their service. My mattress is new;)

Oh, dear, I forgot one thing. As for the study desk, you can buy an unfixed desk from Walmart(My roommate has bought one). But the desk may be not large enough to put many books on it.
