Job Description HP Service Bus (HPSB) is an enterprise wide, service centric and standards based application integration product combining both application-to-application integration and B2B integration.  The engineer will work with teams in the United States and other countries to help entities customize business transactions using the HP Service Bus configuration tool.    There is no coding required.  The configuration tool allows for drag and drop configuration.  Engineer will work with specifications from customer and design and implement a solution.  After testing, the engineer will work with integration engineers to integrate the solution into the production system.  
  
Job Requirements & Skills Required 1) Excellent English oral and written communication  2) Familiar with Java/XML (no coding needed) 3) User level knowledge of Unix 4) Knowledgeable of Protocols: HTTP, FTP 5) Can write queries for Oracle 8i 6) Flexible working time sometimes 7) Customer support experience is a plus

Job description
The software engineer will be part of an exciting development team in the BI and Customer Reference domain.   The specific job is to perform application analysis, design, development, test, document, and deep support. He/She should
—      Develop/enhance IT application systems base on requirements and analysis provided by customers;
—      Perform architecture, ETL process design for enterprise systems;
—      Perform Design, Implementation, Testing, and Documentation on assigned work;
—      Provide guidance to other developers/testers in the same organization as needed;
—      Resolve technical issues for customers with quick response and high quality;
—      Attending technical and project management meetings;
—      Help on enhancement/maintenance on existing components;
—      Communicate properly to both on-shore and off-shore partners at different time zones.
—      Be able to work on flexible time to take conference call and work with oversea partners.

Qualifications
Candidate Requirements Summary:
The ideal candidate should be some one who has development experiences on Data Warehouse ETL.  The candidate should have been through large and small Data Warehouse ETL projects and have worked with the full IT Software Development Life Cycle.  The candidate should understand that design, test, documentation is part of the development effort.  The candidate should also be flexible to help on enhancement/maintenance other existing systems that are written in Pro*C, PL/SQL, Oracle and MS Access.

Required Experience:
·         Must have 3+ years of experiences on ETL with Informatica.
·         Have 2 or 3+ years of experiences on SQL Server along with other required skill sets listed below.
·         Have 1+ years of experience on ASP and .ASP NET.
·         Should be able to work independently with minimum supervision and have the ability to use his/or her analytical skills to solve problems

Required Skills & Training:
·         Fluency in Data warehouse concept and architecture especially ETL\OLAP\Reporting
·         Fluency in Informatica ETL tool
·         Fluency in SQL Server 2000 development tool set including DTS, BCP, stored procedures, TSQL, etc.
·         Fluency in ASP, ASP .Net development.
·         Excellent communication skills in English (writing/ verbal).

Required Availability & Location:
·         This is an off shore position in Shanghai, China.
·         The candidate will work with the development team in the US
·         The candidate must be available for occasional evening US time phone conference to resolve issues or gather requirements.

Additional Desired Experience, Skills, and Training:
·         Oracle, Business Objects, VBA, C, C++, Java, XML
·         Fluency in Oracle development tool set including Pro*C, SQLLoader, PL*Sql, SQL, etc.
·         Analytical skill set
·         Ability to interpret and comprehend design specifications
·         Ability to organize and visualize specifications into logical processes
·         Understand client/server GUI development guidelines/principles
