According to this statement, people should not only obey just laws but also have a responsibility to disobey and resist unjust laws. In my view, it is hard for us to judge a law as just and unjust. And disobeying and resisting some laws, which we consider are unjust, would bring negative impact on our society to some extent.
To begin with, laws, which come from people’s value and social value, (law应该不是从人们价值观中来的吧,这和舆论还是有区别的)are instituted by certain people. Since people's individual value may differ from each other and they are likely to have their own judgment on treating some situations, we cannot judge a law as absolute just. Common sense tells us that many things we consider reasonable in our daily life may not be just in our laws.(这个TS可能有点问题,开头讲的是law区分成just和unjust,这里好像没有有力的支持这个论点) For example, if we catch a thief, who is doing criminal in our own home, we may probably be very angry and thus to beat him or her. It is totally usual and reasonable according to common sense; however, such behavior betrays the law because you have already hurt other's rights. Many other examples can also be easily founded in our daily life. In brief, laws may not provide absolutely just judgment, because every one of us has his or her own judgment when meeting some events in daily life.
Moreover, the just of a law is a wide and vague definition, which may be hard to discriminate. As we all know, in different countries, they have their own criteria on the just of a law. (有不同的评定标准好像不能说明law不能区分成just和unjust,我觉得应该在一个国家的范围内讨论比较好)For example, in the America, laws may be considered as just when it is fair on its procedure. However, in China, the result of an event is most important, so Chinese laws advocates the just of the final result. It is entirely possible that some situations may be just in some regions, but when it comes to others, totally opposite result may even occur. As a conclusion, different institution may also affect the just of a law and it is somewhat for people to distinguish them.
In addition, the statement claims that people should not obey unjust laws, and even resist them. In my opinion, such behaviors could only lead a worse result to some extent. Common sense tells(这种东西最好一篇中不要用两次) us that some institution of laws would damage profits of some group of people inevitably. For example, in our daily life, we should all provide tax to our government. As known to us, mid-classes should cost a large part of their incomes to afford tax while relative low incomes group only afford little. If some people escape for tax, then the local government is likely to increase tax rates in order to maintain its budget, still damaging profits of most people in the end. In short, while I admit that some laws may be considered as unjust, blind disobey or resist is false.(例子分析不够深入,具体的why不能disobey or resist要说出来)
Furthermore, if people in a society all disobey and resist unjust laws, such behaviors would be likely to hinder the development of society. Many laws in our society would be considered as unjust to different people, if those people all resist to them, then the original stable social environment would be broken. Legalization is an important part in our society, which leads the criteria of our daily life, so it is somewhat the symbol of authority of a nation. Disobeying and resisting such laws is equal to challenge the authority of the nation, which could lead the whole society unstable to some extent. So it is better for us to adopt some rational behaviors when we face unjust laws.(这一段最好作为上一个例子的分析展开)
To sum up, every one has his or her definition of the just of a law, so it is hard to summarize criteria of the just of a law. Moreover, in order to maintain the stable environment of our society, we should obey our laws rather than disobey and resist them.(最后这里文中并没有说明为什么obey laws更重要,这样写有些groundless)
思路还算比较清晰
主要还是论述上的问题,说理还需要更有深度,不过可能是因为国内环境的限制造成的 |
