Issue38 does television render books obsolete?
The statement asserts that since people acquire knowledge from television as much as from books, the latter one tends to be less important than what it used to be. Though I admit motional media as a new means of studying, by providing vivid , animated videos , frash new ideas, latest information around the world etc. However, as a common recognized studying platform, compared with books, television still have a long way to go.

One reason makes television popular is for the way it provides service so considerately that anything as long as you desire can be turned into reality in no time. Fast and new is always the key feature of this mainstream entertainment industry. High imagination and customer oriented running appraoch  assurely gains more attention for television rather than books which more to the taste of special audiences and takes months or years to finish. In a swift swirling age, the producing of presswork fails to satisfy the growing demand of the impatient browsers. For example, tv programms has evoled into various direction since last 5 years, “real person show”, “survival”, “the apprentice”, the creation of ideas just successfully catch the demand of ordinary people.

However, easy comes and easy goes, the opposite trait of most television programmes holds back its step to the  efficient study facility. As an absolute business product , television is far ranging criticised as shallow, chameleonic , violence-promoter , eroticism saler, in a word not always suitable for children or knowledge sinker. While, books on the other hand, edited much prudently , catogoried of various subjects and specific field,  spending a multitude of time on rescorces gleaning, have been recommended as a condign medium for knowledge obtained. In fact, few tv programms could accomplish the testification of time, on contrary, those classical masterpiece like <war and peace>,<old man and the sea>,<farewell,weapon>, never fade away as the time fleeting.That is why in this IT time , book seling is still one of the hottest protitable industry , cause people still think more assurance books bring than slippery video episodes.

Another compelling advantage of booking is portability and least limitation on equipments which makes book a more loyal friend and humble survant. Television comfines one into a fixed place, what produces dozens of sofa potatos, while natural description and saga of  explorers only inspire us to walk out of the small apartment then find a new life beyond this concrete jungle. Mobilization is the vigorous spring of the city grows when books simply disburden the weight of your hand as well as your spirit..

There might be sometime people are tired of quick pace life and brutal competition outside , they request for a inside peace where tv progrmms only aggrevated their upset , numerous advertisement, noisy music, contests, money. At that time, isolated from hubbub and uproar seems to be the hardest thing ever since. However, leaving yourself alone, making a cup of tea, flipping a book without any intention, you will retrive a feeling of relieved again. Books can be a place of shelter and refugee.
In a sum, even though televison do have some merits , especially when provides latest news, updates fashion of front horizon, never shall it taken place the existence of book which contains unalienable value and enlightening thinking that will keeping glitering throughout the generations. For people , how to make best use of these two means of media is more practical and long term perspective to step into a new era.
