应该怎么选
去那个学校签证会有问题吗？

因为我已经答应stony brook了啊，再说家里人估计也不会同意我去，其实我觉得VT满不错的。。。

那和uic比呢
其实vt的专业偏微观呀，可能uic专业会更好一些
可是vt综合和经济似乎都比uic强啊

两个学校我都有陶瓷，似乎拒谁都不好

其实vt的情况我看的比较多，你去他们网站有一个student guide就知道，四年差不多可以毕业，他家和VT的农经系还是联系非常多的，农经的教授比较多，做的东西也实际一些。而且经济系明年会招新的faculty，地方也不错。还是挺不粗的一个选择，我不是太清楚UIC的情况，你不如去那里找UIC的学生问一下。

那如果我要转校呢
说实话，如果有能力的话，我想再留在美国大学教书
这样就得去至少前30的大学

UIC离U Chicago和Northwestern已经uiuc近，对转校会有帮助吗？
还有问Lycst，vt的placement怎么样啊

UIC是不是要好点，毕竟在CHICAGO，选择多点

Actually, if you wanna be a phd and then a faculty, the rank of your university is more important than the loaction of your univeristy. If you wanna enter business after you graduate, the location of UIC is much more better than VT. In addition, VT can give you full financial support. Therefore, I recommend you to go to VT. The weather in Chicago is really really terrible. It even snows in April. But the weather in Virginia is much better than Chicago.
BTW: I didnot say only top 30 university's graduate can find a faculty job. I just said if you can enter top 30, you will be easier to find a faculty job.
I am in Chicago area now. If you decide to come to UIC, I can introduce something about Chicago to you. Actually, i have a classmate who is also from Xiamen University. She may be from marketing  of your university or something like that. She is a warm-hearted girl. Therefore, I would like to help Xiamen guys. hiahia~~~~~

VT placement网页上都有，一些去三流大学做faculty，一些去研究机构，据说还是不错的。而且学校周围的大城市也不少的说。
转校真的不好说，而且，系里也不会太愿意让你转的。。
