       The graph show the change in the monthly profits of Acme sports Cars and Branson

Motors in the car retail industry for 2000 finanncial year.According to the graph,the

monthly profit of Acme Cars decrease by almost 40% while there was a twofold

increase in the monthly profit of Branson Motor over the period.

     During the first quarter,Acae sports Cars' monthly profit stand at $70000,which was

$50000 more than that of Branson Motor.It decrease slightly to $60000,but rose sharply

to $80000 by the end of September.Branson Motors' monthly profit,in the contrast,double

from $20000 to $40000.

     Due to introduction of tax on luxury goods,Acme sportts Cars; monthly profit

plummeted during the second quarter from $80000 to only $10000,where as Branson

Motors' profit continue to rise,peaking at a sum of a bit over $60000by the end of

December.

     In the third quarter,Acme sports Cars' monthly profit pick up and increased steadily to

$20000 and remain stable,while Branson Motors' monthly profit fluctuate between

$60000 and $50000.

     At the beginning of the last quarter,the monthly profit of both Acne Cars and Branson

Motors went up because of the economic boost reported in the media.Toward the end of

the financial year,the former reached $40000,which was two thirds of that of he latter.
