compendium:  1, Explain originality’s mean. (science , culture , life style etc.)  mainly science.
            2, Formerly, especially before Renaissance, originality must think out a or some new ideas that was never thought before. That time, inventions and discoveries(Enumerate some examples) are very less,because of lack of people’s new ideas. Reason: productivity is low; the ruler control and limit people’s thinking through coercion and religion. In this age , originality depends on some individuals’ new thoughts.   
          3,From Renaissance to early 20 century, in my view, this is a era of boom of originalities. Hitherto almost all important innovations that influence progress of history came out in this phase. Enumerate some instance. Large numbers of new thinkings benefit to creat numerous originalities. E.g.  
          4,Modern time, only several great breakthrough in science.(computer, nuclear power, genetic tech). people more use together and reshuffle unlimited old ideas in new ways to develop originalities.
          5, illustrate new thinkings and reuse old ideas in new way cohesion.

      Originality means new theory, new culture, new life style,new skill, new technology etc. In a word, new things can be called originality. Originality can not emerge without any reason ,which normally depends on new thinkings, and then people make them become new thing-----originality. Certainly togethering old ideas in new way equals originality too.So, whether originality means some new ideas that was never thought before or means putting old ideas together in new ways.From history of science, we may can find answer.
      Formerly, especially before Renaissance, originality of science must relied on some new ideas that was never thought before. That time, inventions and discoveries in science are very less
(For example, Aristotle and his thinkings could dominate in circle of science several hundreds years so as to when Kepler found that the planets travels not in circles but in ellipses,,he had great difficulty convincing the scientists of his day that his findings were correct,because they could not believe that the great Aristotle was wrong.) because of lack of people’s new ideas.Two reasons beget this situation: 1, productivity was very lower; 2,the ruler controlled and limited people’s thinking through coercion and religion. In this age , originality depended on some individuals’ new thoughts or collective intelligence

Newton, Leonardo da Vinci,Galileo, Robert Hooke…swarms of scientists engaging in different fields with large numbers of new thinkings and reusing those accumulated fantastic old ideas that benefit to creat numerous originalities.A notable critic have said:”This age , WWI dated from Renaissance, is the golden ages of science.”Apparently, Law of gravity, telescope,caculus,electricity etc, as above I said, the most numerous and the most important creations changed the whole society’s visage. While so many originalities usually are considered profiting from those great new thoughts, newton’s classic words---If I have seen further it is by standing on the shoulders of giants, prove that gathering old ideas in new ways is the same as originality.
     ,Modern time, it seems only several great breakthroughs in science(computer, nuclear power, genetic tech that are created through bran-new thinkings). People more use together and reshuffle unlimited old ideas in new ways to develop new things.Let us put our eyes on costume. See those so called elements of vogue: Dressing underclothes outside, man’s skirt, garment made by rags…To be frank, the fashion is not a new idea just a comprehensive old ideas.
     Consequently, originality means not only new thinkings but also gathering old ideas.In fact, it is not worthy to discuss originality’s meaning.No matter what mean originality is, as long as originality is beneficial to human beings, it is OK.

作文有一些问题，我就挑挑刺了，莫介意
1.            题目是学生在学习的过程中，应该有怀疑的精神，应该质疑所学的东西。Lz 都是写Originality，好似偏了。
2.            多次重复的字词，最好能用别的代替。
3.            口语避免在学术文章中出现。
   推荐lz看看北美范文，对写作文很有好处的
