“Governments should focus more on solving the immediate problems of today rather than trying to solve the anticipated problems of the future.”


   As a society critic said, government should be leader of solving momentous social problems. It is really ture that government as a nation’s manager and planner is enough powerful to solve kinds of social problems. Otherwise, government is selected civilians representing average people, which can embody people’ intent.So for what problem should be emphasized, government can control well too.However governments are not possible and impotent to can take the most effective actions to handle them for any problem, especially immediate or anticipated problems,whether governments devote more to solve imeediate problems or future problems is really throny. But in my opinion,both should be focused,as this words goes: ” two hands grab,two hands both grasp.”----Deng Xiaoping,Chinese former chairman.And in fact, People Republic of China, from October 1st, 1949 when she was found, have been doing like that focus on immediate and anticipated problems evenly.
   Faced the mess Japanese imperialist left, with wound of war, the new China governmet at the first wake up to our country must exclude all the factors breaking security of nation especially that Jiang jie shi and his regime rooted on Taiwan still wanted in vain to establish a feudalistic country.First of all, central government smashed a lot of sabotages Jiang plotted.And then in 1950,started a attack aimed at Taiwan splittism. While it had not liberated Taiwan, this action made Taiwan could not jeopardize China’s security. Since that, China had a better environment to develop her agriculture and industry, a country’s fundament.
   After stabilized nation’s situation and began industry and agriculture’s progress, Chinese government thought that they must think about future---a powerful country in the word and unification of nation(Hongkong ,Macao,and Taiwan). Virtually in early 1950s,China government had engaged in those two things.That time, if a country could master nuclear technology and made nuclear bomb, even if nowadays, this country could overawe other countries and this was a symbol of potent.Considered China’s future development, government invested countless money and labors on researching nuclear bomb.Through 15 years’ hard work, the first nuclear bomb made by China detonated.Otherwise the first satellite made in China was sent up, who became the fourth country controlled technology of satellite. Those all showed China’s national power to the whole world. As to Hongkong and Macao, as known to all, after over 100 years waiting, through Chinese government’s “One country, two systems” policy, finally they had came back.
   No one can deny China have become one of several the most important countries.Her experience indicate that government must plan country’s present and future at the same time.Because immediate and anticipated problems are worthy and necessary to consider which are possible to influence one country’s destiny.
