Welcome to NC State University and Good luck to your life in US! We, the Chinese Students & Scholars Friendship Association at NCSU, are looking forward to your coming to join us. We will try our best to help you start your new life here.   

Because of the increasing number of new students from China at NCSU each year, we would like to encourage you to arrange pick-up by yourselves, for example, contact Chinese students in your future department at NCSU or your college alumni. If you can’t find any contacts, please do not hesitate to send an email to NCSUNewStudents2007@gmail.com IN ENGLISH including the following information: (we strongly recommend you to send the email after you get your visa, the more information the better.)

After receiving your email, we will contact you ASAP. For housing here, you can choose live on-campus or off-campus. If you'd like to live on-campus, we recommend you to visit housing office website: www.ncsu.edu/housing to know detailed information. But most Chinese students prefer to live off-campus, renting apartments or townhouses in resident communities near NCSU, for its comparatively cheap price and its convenience of cooking Chinese food. There are many communities near NCSU providing housing service to NC State students.
